You generally cannot wipe an iPad or remove accounts without the original login details because Apple uses activation lock to protect devices if they are lost or stolen. Jailbreaking will not bypass that and can even break the device. The best option is to contact Apple with proof of ownership or try to recover the account through Apple ID support. If you cannot do either it is unlikely you will be able to use the iPad fully.

Typically if you have an issue with a website, you would submit it to the registrar, or the server/datacenter that it is being hosted from. If its cloudflare, you can report abuse to cloudflare.

You just said you have a task to track the owner of a website. Because of issues with Stalking, privacy protections were created to try and prevent that. If someone is teaching you about research into this stuff, then maybe some tools like "dig" or "nslookup" can help you figure out what is happening, and learning how those protections work.

Showing up to a discord asking how to track a person is sus, and I would watch for scammers in your DMs that may come of it.

Hi all! I have had Kali taking up my whole drive for a while and I need windows again. I removed the whole Linux OS as if I'll need it I will just use a virtual machine but I came across an issue. this should sum it up:

Windows setup cannot see NVMe SSD because:
NVMe SSD is behind Intel VMD controller.
Windows 11 installer does not include VMD drivers, so VMD needs to be off
It cannot be disabled in BIOS (option is greyed out)
VMD cannot be disabled because Intel RST is active (rapid storage technology) therefore RST must be disabled.
RST cannot be disabled in the normal menu because (AHCI / RST/VMD/Remapping)
You must find and disable "PCle Storage Remapping," "VMD for PCIe Port," or "RST Premium" in those menus.
Once that is OFF:
→ RST turns OFF
→ VMD unlocks
→ You can disable VMD
→ Windows sees the SSD
CSM, Secure Boot, and Windows OS Configuration are missing. Because:
→ Your MSI firmware is a pure-UEFI model (no Legacy mode).
This removes:
• CSM toggle
• Secure Boot toggle (sometimes)
• Windows OS Configuration menu
This is expected and does not block installation.
Boot USB must be UEFI.
Because:
→ NVMe drives require UEFI mode to be visible to Windows.
And your BIOS already forces UEFI (good).

The one I have right now, the battery died, then revived itself somehow.

There was a point where the battery would drain, and the laptop would die, while plugged into AC.
During that time, unplugging during any of the process would make the laptop instantly turn off, as if it didn't have a battery.

Now it just works as normal.

I get where you are coming from a lot of people go through the same thing after finishing a course and realizing networking did not click right away. The good news is you can absolutely build that understanding with small steady steps. Start with basics like how networks communicate IP addressing routing and simple protocols then try hands on tools like Packet Tracer or simple home lab setups because seeing things work makes concepts stick. Take it slowly celebrate small wins and ask questions whenever you get stuck you will be surprised how much clearer cybersecurity becomes once networking starts making sense and you are already motivated which is the hardest part, also Ksha is right.

@dense stump your way of speaking isnt so normal around here but ill still give you an answer based on my perception of your question, to block WiFi and Bluetooth you usually just need to turn them off in your device settings or enable airplane mode. If you mean blocking them on a router or network you can disable wireless in the router settings or use parental controls. If the goal is security related you can also forget the network or remove paired devices so they cannot reconnect. 😄

A MAC address works basically like you’re home address it’s a identical address given to you’re device so it can’t be changed unless with Mac adres spoofing but that’s a bit more technical

One thing what is important, is to understand the meaning of an alert. You will see some "questionable" alerts, especially when you work with Microsoft Defender XDR, that requires you to do smal threat hunting to be 100% sure it's not something malicious.

You probably also want to familiarize yourself with various Windows Event logs.

Unfortunately, some SIEM tools or security tools don't ingress them.

I think the most important skill I had to use as a SOC is threat hunting and understanding the meaning of an alert.
