denial of service is one device attacking another singular device

distributed denial of service is multiple devices attacking another singular device

the big difference is that one is easy to trace, since one attack is coming from a singular source (DOS)

Hello, I think I have some sort of virus but I'm not sure. I know its not malware or else avg would have detected it. It doesn't happen often but sometimes, on any app within my phone, it will go off that app and onto some website that says "you have a virus, please install this to get rid of it". i got more life out of my gaming laptop when it started to die by disabling the GPU, and installing linux (it won't play well with the GPU in a laptop of that generation). But thats when I had a desktop for gaming, and used my laptop mostly for videos/web browsing

If that maybe sounds appealing, it could be an option.

Well the reset will only erase your data and setting, if u have a backup u r safe. So Idk the fully stent of your problem, but I believe u should save whatever is your important files somewhere and make them a backup and reset your phone. Ur iCloud will be safe as long as u have the backup.

I'd advise against the live boot, it is painfully slow. It's not meant to be an alternative to bare metal or a VM.

Dual boot tends to not play well either between Kali and Windows. Depends on your "main" OS perhaps

Seems like some Remote access payload or logger situation. The best thing for you to do now is to factory reset your Mobile devices. If you can't do that, then first transfer all of the files from thst device to another device whether a PC or Mobile. Or transfer in your cloud accounts.
