So basically the Patch only enables the setting that Admin Privileges are necessary by Default for installing drivers.

If you need Users to be able to Install drivers with Pointandprint, this setting cannot BE enabled. And Microsoft stated that "Having NoWarningNoElevationOnInstall (a setting in the gpo that gets changed by the patch) set to 1 makes your system vulnerable by design."

As i Said, its a pretty annoying vulnerability that i want to fix but my Infrastructure is somewhat worst Case to solve it nicely

You need to Install/Update drivers when you want to Print on a specific printer in Case youre Missing those - the Print Server will let you Download/ Install those on the Client machine

I cannot manage the drivers of Like 40 different printers via imaging/deployment

Well its a Kind of workaround but im Not Sure If its completely Safe. I tested it and IT kinda worked but you have to setup different gpos to make it work. And even then Microsoft stated that its Not Safe even though i dont know why or how IT could be exploited then

I also disabled all spooling Services on all Servers in the Network who are Not involved in printing and then id also disable inbound printing to keep an possible exploit local

From what I can gather an attacker would have to be on the network and put malicious drivers in the file which the print spooler compares with print client or whatever and then you end up having downloaded that malicious driver and having false trust as it's "trusted"; but I'd have to look more into this for you

Yeah You kinda deceiving the Client to be a Printserver and let the Client Download and install your modified File so the System User will run it and give you local Admin.

GND --- GND
TXD --- GPIO3

Which powers, the ELM327 and makes the serial communication for the ELM327 and the ESP32, So I could send a message to the CAN (controller area network), And if I could get some CAN BUS commands, I could try to decrypt the Data(Response) And do some testing on it .

I could use an mcp2515, to sniff(trying to find Commands) But i can't afford, one right now as I'm 15 still🤷‍♂️

I am using a HM90 and had several challenges.

1) Installer freezes if mouse is attached
If any mouse is attached to the device (tried it with two different mice), after several seconds of showing the graphical installer, everything freezes. This can happen on the first page of the installer - before clicking the first time on next. No input by the mouse or the keyboard is recognized.
I had to reboot the HW using the power-button. After unplugging the mouse, this did not happen anymore and I could navigate through the installer.
=> Don't have a mouse attached during Proxmox-installation

2) Installer freezes at "Creating LVs"
After some research, I have the impression this seems to be a common issue. Often people are just told to "wait up to 20min". As the installer didn't seem to continue for several minutes (at 3%), I did some other stuff. After maybe 30min, I realized that the server rebooted, because it was showing the boot-menu of Proxmox. I started the installation again and now the Creating of LVs was done in a matter of seconds.
=> Wait if it hangs at 3% (some report it might take hours) and after some time it will continue / the second try will be much faster.```

this can be caused by various resons like Bad USB

or broken/courrupt image file

The error debootstrap is the error which occour’s normally if the installation disk(CD/usb-stick) not being mounted into the hardware disk .

solution:

click the esc key during the start .

enter the command-prompt / shell

enter the command “fdisk -l” ,which displays the disk which are currently present

type command : “mount /dev/<sd1>/cdrom” ,where <sd1> represents the name usb disk’s name ,so replace them at that place

exit out of the shell and resume the install process .
