I think in general the intention is to focus on in-house development of tools. the specifics I can't speak to, but as a rule (though with some exceptions) I would expect most future releases (features, models, etc) to be created by Leo devs and researchers

Yeah that is understandable and I'm not knocking them for needing something to run it. They just should've went for Veo 2 or something that is not a model that can be installed for free. That would be very worthy of the credits paid and the best to have available on the best image generator. But I am just happy to see them going down the video path now.

seems like there is a whole other level of exitement for video feature

being fair, it seems that the video model is causing some lag on the website (mostly if you already have some videos generated and you are writing a prompt and have to use backspace), might come with the text field for prompts being static at the top of the site too, idk, but the results are really good so far

will have a blast when End Frame gets added, as that's what I normally use the most in the other place I go to for animations

it hasn't been down, the video feature hasn't been up for a day yet either. Motion is available if you go to your library and select Image2Video then select the old model

Under motion(lately renamed video) I used to have a button to upload an image and select motion strength ect. thats all gone. Under video I have no upload first frame but that costs 250 credits when it used to be 25 so I have no idea how to get to the regualr/old way

hi thanks for responding. so yeah like i mentioned I'm looking to train a model to imitate an art style of an artists. I been using the Illustrative Albedo preset with style illustration and uploading 4 reference images under style, and I do get a decent desired result, but I been juggling like 65 images for references 1-4 at a time and having to adjust reference strength etc does get tedious and time consuming so looking to use at least 50 of those 65 to train a model to save time. So i'm not sure which type and base model to use.

I also saw that generating and training the new model has a style option that is not a character within the advanced options. That model is new and I did not explore it.

Hey guys, it's been a while since I used Leonardo. The censorship now is EXTREME — I can't even use words like 'lace', 'high heels', or 'legs', even in non-provocative contexts. Worst part? They don’t tell you what word offended them, so I have to delete words one by one until it works.
Is the paid version any better? I don’t want to pay for the same or just slightly less censorship. Honestly, I’d prefer no censorship at all.

i am really excited about the new features of leo, but to make it not too pretty, would like to point out that the persistent slowdown in image generation and the effect of "freezing" the site are a high - and a bit discouraging - price we (at least some of us) pay for it. i received information that the issue is known and is being worked on, but as for now i wouldn't say the improvement is satisfactory 😛
