I've embedded the Leonardo API into a tool Im creating to allow users to generate or modify images for the purpose of city planning.
Its working a treat but I have a question about content moderation.
While Leonardo has content moderation for text prompts, I doesn't seem to have content moderation for image prompts which could be an issue any advice ?
I want to allow users to upload an image for example of a street in their area, and for example "add public seating " as their prompt.
This works but I want to moderate images that can be submitted as prompts as an image generation feed of NSFW is not ideal

its often with what they are trained to understand better, I've been seeing it since DS days if it cannot understand it in anime style it'll change the entire genre to realistic. Since the keyword didn't have training with particularly anime imagery. Even realistic ones were so weird at times since its pretty hard to understand its shape and style with alot of loose stuff, comapritively Chinese robes were simpler to understand.

Leonardo is amazing with an array of different tools and functions. The Character reference feature you've mentioned it incredibly new, therefore we were all able to do cool stuff without it, before it came along. It just makes things a bit easier. But overall, Leonardo is amazing regardless of which plan you choose to use.

joined Leonardo in May and didn't realize all of the features I had been using for free, were only temporarily free.

They did that control of number of images and people complained. I believe Adrean was one who complained about it. Then within 24 hours it returned to having a choice

I.e. only the accounts that were made after the change

I was informed today that the limitation is in effect for new free users.

So it's sad that they've implemented that again. I think there are a lot really cool features and functions of Leonardo that free users would think, oik fair enough we don't get them unless we pay, but acually free users get those.
But being forced to make four images creates a bad feeling for users who are already restricted.

I think it has to do with resource optimalisation, ensuring that things keep running smoothly for everyone even when the number of users grows

150 generations of 1 image is probably more resource-intensive than 37 generations of 4 images. But this is just speculation

Yes I appreciate there are reasons behind that , and it is costly to run etc. But I think there are other restrictions that can be put in place to save costs and resources, rather than this particular restriction which, as I say, makes users feel sad and like they are a nuisance.

Well if something is necessary to keep the platform running for everyone, and if the alternative is not being able to offer free plans to new users at all, then it is logical that more of these restrictions are being implemented

I'm sure the devs would rather not implement it, which is why it's only being implemented now

If you're just here for fun, then the paid plan might not be aluring enough
