Leonardo.Ai is in fact a website with a full suite of visual tools. Simply go to http://app.leonardo.ai and you can start generating images for free 😄

Uploading images to General requires a higher rank, but you can do it in #🙋│image-help

For Motion, you should be able to use it with images you created on the platform right away

Yes, but it’s a Premium feature.

So if you want to try motion for free before paying for a subscription, you can use a generated images OR a workaround would be to bring the external image for Image to Image at max weight. The generated image will be pretty much identical.

Ok fine, I'll send you $10 then; that ridiculous rigmarole is not worth $10 of my time. Wouldn't be a fair test passing it through an image gen first. (and you guys should realize that) I figured since you guys were one of the few AI apps that showed up at the HPA, you were interested in Pro use - I guess I figured that wrong.

In my tests, Motion strength of 3,4 or 5 brings the best results... too little and you barely get a twinkle, too high and the image simply morphs into a 5 dimensional eldritch entity 😅

Hey Tuxman... I have a question... Let's say I have generated an image and upscaled it using Alchemy upscaler... and then I've jumped to the "personal feed" page... right now (since yesterday) I can't switch between "original" and "upscaled" versions of the generated image... When I click the download button on the web app UI, it produces "Unable to download image: Invalid image URL or ID" error in Javascript console... and in addtion to not be able to switch between original and upscaled images... cannot download the currently displayed image using the download button... For testing purposes I freshly installed a Chrome flavor and the same problem is also there... (normally I prefer Firefox.)

You can absolutely report it still using the purple button in the bottom right corner (just so they know it’s still ongoing)

A workaround for the rich kids who got iPhones is to use iOS app. Weirdly enough the bug is not present there and downloading works as expected.

Yep LC33, that's how I would think... The problem is not present in the image generation page... but for this particular use case of mine... I need the personal-feed functionality on the desktop version of the app... we'll wait then... fingers crossed 🙂

Sounds like a stuck generation, use the 3 dot menu on the right of the generation to delete it, refresh the page, then run the generation again.

The answer to @crimson tulip's question is no - Universal Upscaler uses regular tokens, so once you run out of tokens for the month, you can't use the Universal Upscaler (but you can still generate images with the Relaxed Queue)

quick question - how do I update/change my billing info for the subcription?

If you want a higher subscription then simply go into Manage Subscriptions and choose a higher one. To go down cancel your subscription. After your subscription ends choose the lower one. You will have to wait a bit. For me it took an extra 24 hours for it to reconize that I canceled

Yes! All images you generate can be used in any way you want, as long as they don't contain existing logos or copyrighted characters.

For example, you can't generate and post an image with the Coca Cola logo in it because there's copyright on that logo

Ah! Character consistency… one of the holy grails of image generation 😁

Stable Diffusion (which Leonardo is based on), works by leveraging randomness. It’s a double edged sword as that’s what makes it possible to create art that never existed… but at the same time make it volatile from one generation to the next.

There are some techniques to make prompts more resilient to randomness: make sure most important parts are the front, avoid metaphors and use simple nouns and adjectives, keep relevant terms together (ie: clothing with clothing and background with background) and try to make the prompt as short as possible.

There are others of course, but it’s a least a quick primer to maximize your chances of consistency.

(And when all else fails, bring the pic to the Leonardo Canvas and change the details there 😜)

its probably pulling errors because you have free version and cannot access alchemy or photoreal, so its returning error

As I said yesterday... with the latest desktop app update, the problem came back: Let's say I have generated an image and upscaled it using Alchemy upscaler... and then I've jumped to the "personal feed" page... right now (since yesterday) I can't switch between "original" and "upscaled" versions of the generated image... It displays the loading indicator forever... I need to use those buttons which let us switch between "original" and "upscaled" versions of the images...

When I click the image on the "personal-feed" page... the modal window opens with the upscaled image but the button below wrongly indicates as if it is the original image...

And when I click the "Alchemy Refiner" button to switch the image versions... the loading indicator shows up and it spins forever...

Right now, by clicking the download button, I can only download the original image even though the UI displays the upscaled image...

Since the problem is very similar to other problem happened 2 days ago... I believe there's a regression problem...

I reported the problem again using the purple intercom button in the bottom right corner and they reported back that indeed the problem exists...

Yes you should be able to do this

You will also need to be able to describe the style a bit in the prompt as well - a few ways you can go about this

If you use a model on the site without alchemy or prompt magic, you will be able to use “image prompt” in the image guidance tab. This will use the input image as a sense of style. You’ll still then have to prompt for the type of character you are looking for, and use terms like “Flat illustration, simple illustration, sharp line art” to describe the art style

Alternatively if you want to generate a new character that is very similar to an existing one, you could cheat a little and instead use image 2 image on low weight, it will essentially make a bit of a copy of the character but use your prompt to determine the changes (note that this will copy the form of the character, as well as the colour style, so may not be ideal

You will need to play with the aspect ratio, and also spend some of your prompt describing what the character is standing on, so that the AI knows it needs to draw in all the way down to the feet

Guys can you fix already the settings reseting in the image gen menu??

Every damn time - i reset the page or try a new image to use it on - aka - switch to image guidance , it enables for me the Alchemy - changes the dimension and removes the Leonardo Style...
Also save the last settings i have set - like come on - i have to re-set everything - every time i change the image i upload.. (image str..etc)

I have an image of a woman rubbing her neck, but her fingers are way too long. I put it into the Canvas Editor, put a mask on her fingers and used the shorten fingers, etc prompt. It's not really doing much.

I've been playing about with the canvas tool and I found that if you mask an area first and then in the prompt use some keyword direction it helps tremendously. This might already be knowledge out there but I haven't looked at any guides yet... Anyway, just typing cleanup does a good job of smoothing out imperfections to match within the image context. I also used merge images with a mask around the hard edge to be merged. I used enlarge on clothed breasts and it actually gave the increase I was after(nothing vulgar I promise!). I thought this might help someone, I'm sure there are others but haven't tested yet, I've just got premium so have more tokens to test now.
