Hi, Is the Alchemy Upscaler and the Universal Upscaler same thing? If not, how do they differ?

they mainly differ in token pricing tbh

i get lost myself around the many different upscales we have available.
there's the normal upscales, there's the alchemy refiner, and now there's the new Universal Upscaler.

I'm not as tech-savvy as others, but i would say the basic upscalers make the image slightly larger, the refiner can help 'smooth and alter' the image depending on the settings you choose. the UU is our newest one. that really enhances images 😮

The Universal Upscaler not only offers many more options than the other upscalers, but it also supports upscaling external images and using prompts in the upscaling process!

When I'm generating a menu for example, I often use Leonardo.Ai to get an idea of the general aesthetic and button placement, and then I make a final design based on that

Recently, the Leonardo team added 11 of them all at once, so to give an opportunity to everybody to use them/get some experience, they are doing an 11 days theme where each day is based on one of these new Elements

so i was playing a lil bit too much with the Dark Arts and used some prompt improvement on my random words... it instantly flagged my results as nsfw, which scared me (just like it banned my yellow bunny as nsfw lol) and so i decided to view those creepy haunting pics anyway and omg i am NOT gonna be going that far with dark arts ever again. What it made is so creepy (no nudity ofc), that even spoiler wouldn't save u all from that horrific sight. Let's just say i warn you all... try to make some happy lil trees instead 🙂

Ok, I cannot say I am a newbie using Leonardo but I am not an artist too. The only point I have not understood is the canvas. There are video, in english and I am French! Big problem. The main problem is when AI creates unwanted legs, arms or fingers and I would expect to remove them. The negative prompt even if it is present lets the AI to add them.

The download button doesn't seem to be working on my Personal Feed

i've tried Chrome, Firefox, PC and Smartphone

I do most of my gens locally but I like to use the models that are exclusive to sites and Leonardo has a few that look promising.

Anyone else having issues with the refiner/upscaler? When I use this feature the changes are so miniscule that I wasn't sure it did anything. I tried to switch back and forth between the original and upscale image and the image didn't change at all. I tried about 6 photos and none of the before/after are different. I relogged, and refreshed and still the images are still identical.

If it’s the same problem I’m having, it’s because the images aren’t displaying properly in the “Your feed” section of the website. I tried 3 browsers and all 3 had same problem. I could use the drop down menu to change from “original” to “alchemy” to “crisp”, but the image never actually changes. It’s just showing me the version that’s chosen for the thumbnail. Your upscales are probably being rendered, you’re just unable to see them because of some kind of bad code on Leonardo’s part that our browsers don’t like
