Day 18 without High Roller…

At this point I didn’t just lose HR — I accidentally earned a certification in anti-cheat technology.

I now know that:

• TPM helps verify system integrity
• Secure Boot helps stop unsigned boot-level nonsense
• HVCI hardens Windows against vulnerable kernel drivers

Very cool.

Unfortunately I ALSO learned that DMA hardware cheats, second-PC ESP setups, external radar overlays, and firmware-level bypasses still exist because cheat developers apparently treat anti-cheat like a seasonal challenge mode.

So now older hardware players are locked out of HR while my stash continues filling up with expensive gear I use strictly for emotional support purposes.

Meanwhile Squire Royale is still:
spawn default kit → survive trio apocalypse → extract loot → place loot directly into permanent retirement.

Ruins and Crypts still have giant unused boss modules sitting around like abandoned attractions in a theme park where the rides got shut down.

And if I actually want meaningful PvE content now, I basically need to survive enough PvP to unlock access to the rest of the game like it’s DLC.

Please revert the TPM / Secure Boot / HVCI requirement changes for players with older incompatible hardware so HR can come back and my stash can stop functioning as a museum for untouched gear.

TPM, Secure Boot, and HVCI absolutely help make cheating harder.
Nobody reasonable disagrees with that.

But cheating has always been a cat-and-mouse game, which is why it feels rough seeing players with older incompatible hardware locked out of HR completely while the rest of us continue living in Squire Royale poverty simulator.

My gameplay loop now is:
spawn default kit → survive trio warfare → extract incredible gear → place it into stash where it will never emotionally recover.

Meanwhile Ruins and Crypts still have giant unused boss modules sitting around like abandoned convention centers from a canceled event.

And if I actually want meaningful PvE content now, I basically need to survive enough PvP to earn a temporary visa into the real game.

Please revert or reconsider the TPM / Secure Boot / HVCI requirement changes for older hardware players so HR can come back and my stash can stop functioning as a fantasy storage museum.

Squire Royale has officially turned me into a medieval warehouse manager.

I spend all day acquiring valuable gear just to immediately place it into climate-controlled storage where it will never see daylight again.

Meanwhile TPM, Secure Boot, and HVCI discussions have somehow become more relevant to my gameplay experience than actual bosses.

And look — security features helping anti-cheat is a good thing.
Nobody reasonable is arguing against making cheating harder.

But it also feels important to acknowledge that these systems were never going to completely eliminate cheating altogether, which makes it rough seeing older incompatible hardware players locked out of HR entirely while the cat-and-mouse game continues anyway.

Ruins and Crypts still have giant unused boss modules sitting around like empty arenas after the season ended.

And if I actually want meaningful PvE content now, I basically need to survive enough trio PvP to earn admission into it.

Please reconsider the TPM / Secure Boot / HVCI requirement changes for older hardware players so HR can come back and my stash can stop looking like a medieval Costco.

Downclocked and lowered the power limit of my GPU in AMD Adrenalin.

Meanwhile Squire Royale is nonstop default kit chaos while Ruins and Crypts still have giant unused boss modules sitting around like abandoned sports complexes nobody uses anymore.

And honestly, I understand why TPM, Secure Boot, and HVCI were added.
Making cheating harder is objectively a good thing.

But it’s also hard not to feel a little defeated knowing security measures can raise the barrier without fully solving the problem, while older incompatible hardware players end up completely locked out of HR in the process.

So now my gameplay loop is basically:
fight trios → collect cool gear → archive it in stash like historical evidence.

You can submit a ticket online, just make sure you have a video or two to accompany it. If they kill you in game reports are very easy and reliable. I've gotten around 20 teamers temp banned so far this wipe.

At this point it feels like the people hurt most by the TPM / Secure Boot / HVCI changes are the players with older hardware — not the overall cheating problem itself.

And before anyone says it:
yes, security features helping anti-cheat is good.
Yes, making low-effort cheating harder is good.
Nobody reasonable wants MORE cheaters.

But it also feels fair to acknowledge that these systems were never realistically going to “solve cheating.” Anti-cheat has always been an ongoing arms race, which is why every major competitive game on earth still continues battling cheats despite constantly increasing security requirements.

Meanwhile older incompatible hardware players are completely locked out of HR while Squire Royale turns into:
spawn default kit → survive trio warfare → extract amazing gear → place it into stash where it becomes decorative furniture.

Ruins and Crypts still have giant unused boss modules sitting around like abandoned arenas from a game mode we’re no longer allowed to play.

And if I actually want meaningful PvE content now, I basically need to survive enough PvP to earn temporary access to it.

Please reconsider the TPM / Secure Boot / HVCI requirement changes for older hardware players so HR can come back and my stash can stop functioning as a fantasy warehouse.

At this point the TPM / Secure Boot / HVCI situation feels less like “fixing cheating” and more like moving the inconvenience onto older hardware players.

And to be clear:
raising the barrier for cheats is good.
Making anti-cheat stronger is good.
Nobody wants the game overrun by cheaters.

But cheating has never been something solved by a single requirement checkbox, which is why competitive games still fight the same battle year after year no matter how aggressive anti-cheat gets.
