Sure, but losing that non-impacting content isn't causing me to have any less fun. In other words, I really don't think my level of fun will increase just because I now need to start considering more things while looting the players I kill. Sounds kind of chore-ish, in my opinion. It also creates even more gear gap in the mode, which is a slightly controversial change to the mode.

The simpler the gearing is, the more accessible the game is. The more accessible the game is, the more players will play and stick around. The bigger the playerbase, the more nice things we can have as a whole. That's my perspective. I know you loot lovers will disagree with wanting gearing to be more simple, and that's fine.

One thing to note is that Rousing Rhythms increases song playing speed by virtue of the bonus Dexterity. If you were to try to test this on a naked bard with only Gloves of Utility, and did so by first playing that song then playing it again with the gloves on, you'd notice the song played faster with the gloves. That could cause someone to draw an erroneous conclusion.

All the same, I'm certain the in-game tooltips, the wiki, the other Bards in chat, and my testing are correct, that RIS doesn't increase the speed at which a Bard plays a song.

I don't have a statistic for you but in my experience it's different whether you're playing solos or not. also whether you're playing HR or norms. Duos/trios has mostly wizard, ranger, fighter, and barb. Solos has mostly rogue, fighter, barb. Overall the most played class has to be fighter, and the least played is probably sorcerer. Warlock and cleric are played a lot just for how easy they make pve if you have a pve build as well. All of this is subject to change based on the meta, game mode, and other things but that's the gyst.

Demonlock is hard solo though it's way more micromanagement to upkeep. Generally getting your 6 stacks and staying in demon form is ideal.

Also, just be honest about what kind of people you're looking for in your lfg post. Tell them your newb and just trying to learn and I'm sure that people will join who understand that @plush belfry

The game was originally marketed as a hardcore experience akin to a dungeon Tarkov. It's not far off to think the people who adopted it early would be against watering the game down in the name of accessibility. Especially for squire accounts who haven't even paid for the game.

Yeah, but tarkov does not a have a BR circle or exits that were 100% random, like DaD used to.
That was the main gripe from a lot of players, you were often forced to fight the completely geared up team with your starter gear.
You simply couldn't make a choice based of the situation you found yourself in.
Squires to riches makes sense with the BR circle, everyone starts with shite gear
