How are you defending this. This play style does no endorse fun. If a game is always annoying to play then there’s no reason to play it it’s fun to fight and it’s understandable to lose. But to get ratted is NOT fun.

This arena event is the worst event in gaming history. The ONLY valid change is the mob removal thing. Everything else is complete garbage.

I love arenas, but this ruleset doesn’t make any sense at all and I’d rather lose all my gear in HR if that’s the case. At least I can reset fights or avoid unfavored matchups AND can loot people (even if everything resets in a week — the point is being rewarded for the risk you’re taking).

Both losing your gear and not gaining the enemy's gear is important IMO. I think the fact you lose gear and eventually run out is essential to the competitive aspect of the event because it puts the limiting factor on how far you can push into how much you've saved up throughout the season.

The problem with that is that it’s not a solution in itself. It brings other issues with it. The most obvious solution was to make people NOT lose gear on defeat OR allow you to loot the other team’s gear if you win.

Risk everything, win nothing is obviously a bad move (EVEN IF THE SERVER WIPES IN A WEEK).

So yes.. a great move, such as removing pve, was completed overshadowed by incredibly bad moves. Fun is not allowed in this game. Arena participation will be abismal.

dude, for fucking real. I am just grinding religion reward and calling it quits for this season. no point in playing arena since i am a solo pleb and just gonna lose shit anyway. allowing ppl to loot on win would have been a decent move.

I will admit this is absolutely a hard playerbase to satisfy but some QoL changes could have atleast kept a few players around. Not sure what can save this game atp. good while it lasted i guess
