I never made a game tho. If I'm gonna even start the first thing I'd probably make is a Adventurer's Guild managing game. I'd put stuff in it like ranking quests by analyzing their difficulty, getting penalties from ranking it wrong, having to deal with the deaths of your adventurers ESPECIALLY if it was your fault, scouting dungeons, doing commissions (for nobles/the kingdom as an example), expanding into more units in other towns, etc.

Well who knows where housing itself is prioritized, they did make a point to separate it from the gathering hall 3d space mechanically.
housing could be 10 years away for all we know.
