You can 100% reuse portions of dungeon maps without the monster assets added to them, then place environmental dangers (lava, void, the red goop from inferno) and traps around the map.This helps maintain the danger mobs previously provided but in a more controlled manner that players can then navigate and/or use to strategize.

Don't pretend there aren't ALREADY good modules for this to work... Judgement Road, Drain, Bloody Falls, Hellwind, Sinking Pillars, Death Pit

No kap, I haven't seen a combat cheater in a few wipes. Back around this time last year they were very common, especially at off-hours (hint...). I'm sure there's still an occasional guy using some vision cheat, but it's nowhere near as common as it used to be.

Whatever their detection system is got much better. I think it's important to give credit when a problem plaguing the game did improve. Even if it's just one thing.

I'm just thinking that the best loot in the game should be locked within the hardest gamemode in the game (not Arena), and rewarding PvE HR players with that loot won't feel as rewarding to go into HR PvP for that same loot.
Yet the game should still be enjoyable and provide a good loop, where the goal (for some) is to get better gear without dying.

If the best gear can be found in HR PvE and is tradable, then there is no point in farming it in HR PvP. HR PvP just becomes a place to fight other players because if you just want to loot, you can get it safely (safer) elsewhere

you have time to go and take it all in and have your fun with the fruits of your effort and lose it in natural ways! it’s a lot more flashy and entertaining than letting gear sit away and collect dust. I know it can be kind of bleak your stuff will be gone, but at the same time that gives you all the more reason to use what you’ve worked for to its fullest and have fun! if there were never wipes, people would be encouraged to just never bring anything in because of the inherent value of permanence

if you don’t feel the same, i totally get it but that’s the draw of wipe based systems and what people come to this game for 🙂

the game is all about seasons and getting the permanent rewards that carry over each wipe. then also your fame doesnt reset either.
seasonal resets are great because it gives an oppurtunity to rebalance and add content (some like some dont) resets are also good for the gamers who play a lot and get everything done (which you can do as a regular person in one season as long as you know the game)
