If not one tapped within the time it took to cast said plasma vortex because you need dexterity action speed at least 20% knowledge spell casting speed at like 50% will and at minimum 35ish magic power bonus 318 move speed minimum to not be food to every rogue that exists or druid vigor and max health to hopefully not get 140 hp so you don't get one tapped resourcefulness so you can continuously do spells and if you don't have 25% cooldown reduction you might as well be using a hand cannon instead of elemental bolts since you can reload faster than the damn cooldown

I have farmed 2k rating on ranger sorc and rogue and fighter and the easiest class to play is ranger because one it simply was cheap to build and needed bare minimum true phys and like 16 to 20 action speed and 28 phys power I didn't even give a fk about move speed everything dies when I hit them just grab legendary strength gear and some with dex rolls or dex rings run 2 bows so you have a endless supply or arrow fire survival bow and longbow and run quick fire and shotgun no one can touch you

Sorc I have to play like my life depends on it because everyone just holds w while I'm trying to cast and do or simply because I am a caster they just run at me or blast me down with arrows

Like why do we have fighters cosplaying as rangers every single one has a bow or a crossbow

Hey there, relatively new player here, only about 100 hours.
Adv mode is great for; chill gaming (I don't always want to sweat) playing with friends (Who may also not want to sweat), testing builds and classes, and learning the game without getting ganked.
HR Adv is still useful for those last two, and mobs are different and far more threatening than in norms.
As someone who has been a top-tier PvPer in other games, I have to say, the elitism, gatekeeping, and attitude in here is honestly awful.
There's plenty of space you can still PvP (and I wouldn't want to take that away from you) but you all seem deadset on taking away the PvE experience for those who want it, as if they'd personally wronged you. And it's pretty damn lousy of you.

Interesting take, and just to be clear, I wasn't singling you out or anything. Just commenting on the general tone and tenor of the overall sentiment I'm seeing in here the past few days.
I'm curious though, what you mean by "blending it into the main dungeon". That's already the way it is, and the presence of PvP is what drove people to wanting a pure PvE mode in the first place.
I think the reality is that there's just a subset of players (like with any game) that want to play a certain way. In this case, without fear of getting ROLLED by players, when they're struggling to fight mobs.

Now, I haven't been around in this game to know for sure if this is correct, but in other games and similar environments (PvP and PvPvE games) the only thing that adding a PvE-only mode does, is remove the seals, and the only people that're really usually upset, are the people that want to go seal-clubbing.
And, again, this is not directed at you, just in general.

no i totally get it! i agree with you, a lot of this games community can act very entitled about everything. really, i feel the lobby rolling and other such things are a byproduct of PVE being too easy to bypass for experienced players, typically ignoring/stringing most mobs in the map in favor of rushing spawns they know well because the map is too small with too many players on it. before adventure mode released, the culture was much much different and player interactions were very hit or miss. people used VoIP a lot more, and you didn’t go into every interaction expecting a fight the way you do now.

the issue is taking these players who want different things and sorting them into different baskets. now, there’s no way to play the normal dungeon unless you want to fight three third parties because the lobby is being backfilled as people die (yes this is a slight towards the continuous function i hate it so much but i’ll save that for another time), voice chat is ONLY used in norms to spit toxicity at people and if you want to do anything funny like wearing the jester outfit and acting like a clown, you can’t do it in norms because the min maxed blue barbarian will hold a key in your direction and cut you in half without entertaining you at all.

it’s by reinforcing these different cultures by giving them their dedicated spaces to do what they do that people become very polarized, and personally i find it pretty boring only ever expecting one thing. i didn’t take the statistic of 20% of players being in adventure mode to be “this is a good thing we should add it for HR”, i interpreted it as normals being very poorly configured. spawn rushing and third parties have been a huge issue unchecked for so long, and people go to adventure mode to get away from that. i go to Squires or HR. in the end its all people trying to avoid norms, i feel. not exactly the necessitation of a PVE mode. i think PVE players should be able to thrive in a dungeon of people with differing objectives instead of being forced to run in a different queue because this one queue is dominated by sweat lords.

However, I feel that you're just more optimistic than I am, about being able to balance players with different goals, in the same lobbies. Extraction games are designed to force interaction, and often, hostility. Because, once you're able to kill players semi-reliably, that becomes the defacto 'best' or most optimal/profitable way to play the game. Hence why you end up with "Rats and Chads" in things like Tarkov and ARC, etc.
Looting a player is many times more profitable than mobbing, and in some cases, even looting high-value rooms or bossing. IF you're able to take a fight. So... if you can you're probably going to.
And the players people were laughing about dying to skele crossbowmen? How do you think they're gonna fair against a player that wants a fight.
Sure you get the odd player that's chill enough to walk past a "timmy", but most won't because they're passing up a walking lootbag. Then you've also got players that'll lie or try to jump you when your back is turned, or you have mobs on you... etc.
You can't trust they're not a threat so, again, you attack.

I understand your desire to have a more balanced playerbase, queue, and interactions. I just sadly disagree that it's a viable thing in a game like this.

Poison weapon is for magic build with glee. It's not giving you much in a dagger build. The enemy should be dead before ticks start to matter. Also, again, do MATH. I know some schools aren't very good, but with real gear +2 all is negligible.

you do not banned in the usual sense but you are banned from queueing for 20 minutes for light red so i assume deep red name is anywhere from hours to days queue ban

especially considering you need many more down-votes/teamkills to hit deep red than to hit light red
