GC is mid pvp feels wrong on that map and every node is super cramped or too small and almost 100% od fights end up in elevator node or the boss nodes because other nodes are just not good to pvp in the new map has so many problems with it that literally streamers were complaining about it and not but maybe 10 people have said they like it on top of that ice caves is WIDELY hated because its not set up right + most of the mobs arent properly balanced and on top of that they add a slow debuff not top mention the very minimal loot and the crazy amount of subbosses all over the map it makes it a terrible time to play as of rn ruins is the only decent map for pvp not many hiding places no small nodes nothing too crazy they just need to fix the reds because people holding reds is the worst

You have 1 treasure horde thats not locked behind the boss and that room has 2-3 sub bosses and 5-10 ads and its the only area to go for decent loot + the ammount of mobs and their movesets being almost 100% tracking not to mention ranged mobs getting melee attacks(just cirlce them kind awide and your fine but still bs) and to say frozen key is op when literally almost no one would run that key after killing boss because its always in zone and across the map

Crypts is 100% the most popular map ruins is the best most fun pvp with some really annoying mobs(gargoyles) but a overall run time and the layers are all pretty balanced and fun as well ice caves isnt very fun because the modules are lacking something + almsot no loot layer 2 is easy as hell and pvp with those mobs sucks GC has almost nothing going for it its 3 nodes nothing else mid node and boss nodes are the only populated nodes and those boss rooms are a 100% death sentence if 1 person is on each door no layer 2 but semi decent loot mobs with poison(1 hit is really annoying) and it has SUPER corwed/small nodes making pvp or even pve unfun I mainly queue ruins because I love the pvp and it gives me the most of a pvp fight with decent loot and its rather fun while gc makes me feel like most of my fights werent my fault for dying and ice caves feels like its punishing me for playing it

Use a dark cuirass, avoid going full plate especially if youre suffering with magic and know that fighter's weakness is caster classes. if you have the ms to catch, use the ms to catch. if you dont, use ranged weapons, cover and good movement
for longsword fighter I recommend counter attack, shield mastery, sword mastery and the final perk is a flex pick (low ms take swift, want a bow take weapon mastery, missing parries take barricade)
skills should either be adrenaline rush/sprint (sprint if you need the ms, adrenaline rush if you dont have 25% action speed. Adrenaline rush is also ok for chasing but take sprint > adrenaline rush if you need ms) + victory strike/second wind (victory strike if youre catching people enough, second wind if youre taking too much damage)
