Yeah, I am aware that they are unrelated, but its random, sometimes iget 150 fps, but most of the times, im playing with 50, and this is definitely not on my end as I have reinstalled, rolledback drivers, forced dx11, nothing fixes. So its both, netcode and poor optimization. Literally unplaYable for the past month. I wanted to see if anyone else is been having the same issue. I guess the solution is to uninstall the game 😄

My performance has been rocky but I usually get relatively stable fps. Coincidentally I found that messing with drivers and forcing dx11 didn’t really do anything so now I don’t force it to launch any specific way and pretty much only have dlss on performance with settings on low other than shadows. I’m sure various windows settings play into it so might want to check on those

I have attempted several combinations of settings, even with everytthing at the lowest all possible lowest settings, it stills gives me the same exact fps as everything in epic settings.
This was not a n issue before, but I remember downloading a random patch, and it started happening, this happens in big, small, medium maps, arenas, doesnt matter, im always playing with 50fps. Sometimes I start with 120 and the more I play the worse it gets. I thought it was memory leak but I am not longer sure.

It's actually not though. Unreal engines finicky networking is very commonly misinterpreted for cpu/gpu bottlenecking and frame issues.

To be honest man it really could just be the way dark and darker works specifically on your pc. My game used to rubber band a ton, then it stopped and performance was great, then my frames were awful start of last wipe and recently has fixed itself with their rounds of performance adjustments.

12gb, it should not be an issue for this game. At this point in time, there is no reason for a game to require more than 8-12gb of Vram AFAIK, my CPU and GPU are never overloaded and I was also monitoring the cache to see if there was an issue with the shaders and whatnot and it would cause the issue, but it does not seem to be it. Although the Hardware acceleration, not sure i have it enabled no. I will check it.

Might as well try to see if HAGS does anything. It may not. It also may end up better leaving it off. I would absolutely get more VRAM though. I have a very limited understand of computers but your specs deserve more than 12gb imo and upgrading my vram was also a huge difference for me

it used to be for me for a while and they fixed it
recently though it came back with one of the more recent patches but its still sort of not noticeable but definitely is because it only happens during fights
or more specifically when rendering other players

Yeah, facts. it is not possible to fix rubberbanding, only the FPS got a bit better by adjusting some things, but still not ideal, as I dont wanna be stuck in the same place when trying to move or cast a spell and then nothing happens and I simply die because I become a free target.
I noticed this happening with the latest patch, so yeah, Iguess we wait, but until then, unfortunately, not playing the game in this state. But I have been enjoying arenas a ton, I gotta say. Some maps are really really bad, but other than that, its fun

I've decided to give adventure a break and see what the loot is like in HR, but I've played about 30 matches and every one of them ends to a rogue. I tried normals too, even fully gemmed a blue kit on warlock, but got killed by a squire kit rogue in 2 shots. I think I'll go back to adventure now

the window to riposte depends on the impact power of the attack you're parrying. if it's lower impact like a dagger or rapier it can be tough to right click fast enough and get the riposte off

we're talking like only a few frames. some attacks you're better off predicting when it'll hit and spamming right click

and with the introduction of more quests that grant 1000+ exp, it's even easier to climb higher than that now

I agree that we need multi-classing, but the problem with limited amounts of skills to choose from is that there are quite a few spells as well. Making it quite difficult to try hybrid caster builds. Without the native class using those spells.

I believe that would be due to the large amounts of rogues using holy smite. Honestly one of the most broken combinations. Or rogues with max movement speed wearing full plate armor. Rogues were probably the one thing that was breaking the multi-classing the most. At least that's how I felt.

Honestly, I feel like multiclassing should probably act more similar to sub classes from dungeons & dragons. Like fighter can become a paladin using cleric abilities and perks. For the rest, the developers would have to get a little creative with how the abilities would work with each class. But you can't specifically choose many abilities for many classes, it would only be one class of your choice or something like that.
