I used to run like a cheap bardache, buy some decent magic healing and spell power gear, use a spell book, and would win like 50 % of my fights.

I thought the demon form plus crystal shard had some nice synergy/

but maybe I just focus in the kiting, hydra, COP and then bonk with other ability instead of demon form

not really all the high damage spells sorc has are easily dodgeable, sorc is just way better in duos and solos where it has a teleport, multiple knockbacks/slows and you just slowly eat away and kite at your opponent similar to old warlock

Most people play solos and duos and are pretty sick of the golem in trios being very much reminiscent of old druid treants. Not to mention sorc shuts down alot of more bunkery comps in trios just by slotting it into a speedy comp. So you're not exactly wrong about some of it.

You should be able to win against a single ranger in a favorable spot where you have right hand advantage and are playing within your sweet spot. Zap and lightning strike into explosions and fireballs to push with will just cause you to autowin. But 2 longbows? Yeah wiz is gonna be cooked af unless you have a cleric.
