I've been happy with everything, minor disappointments here and there but nothing game ruining IMO. Lots of content recently too which is especially nice. As far as flip flopping goes I think it's some nice variety in the meta even if we go full circle and the meta goes back to where it was in the past.

I've never really felt like the balance is in need of progress, I play all of the classes. I also frequently go through kits so when they make changes to gear stats it doesn't bother me too much, I just work on the next kit with those changes in mind.

It is at a low. Some of it from end of wipe, some from lack of content, some from sdf how he was prior. But, in the end if it’s a good game people will play again. At one point rust had 500 players. Yes I’m optimistic that it will be better ( even as a wiz main who will prob be shafted all wipe by melee. ) their court case just ended end of December. The got 4 million usd to put towards the game, they can keep the game now. It should in theory, get a lot better starting now. Only time will tell

I doubt that they can recover at this point. Most ppl gave it already like 3 tries and it got worse and worse. Streamers like xqc stream to 50k ppl and he cant find a single good word to say about the game. Quiver taking 3 years when they just have to rename "arrow" into "quiver" and change 30 to 100 shows how slow they are progressing. Most balance updates have already been done 2 years ago. I dont know how many times they removed all atts and ill bet that they will introduce it again within the next 3 months. Skill tree, guild hall etc are just baits. Xqc hasn’t been a real gamer since ow2, even then he complained regularly. Compared to balance and many other things, quivers aren’t that big of a deal. Ranger is one of the least played classes. Skill trees is more balancing, and I mean are they really needed? Adding more on the back end ads more unpredictability and feeling of nothing you can do unless they’re very minor things. Even then people will most likely be unhappy. Their’s a lot of hate in the community. Making things are difficult, making people happy as well, when they want what benefits them

A few ideas for improving the dungeon crawling experience and progression system, feedback if you have any.

Looting in DaD doesn't feel good and the progression is bad. High rarity items have a lot of dead PvE stats that no one uses. Instead PvE stats should be removed from natural gear and instead available on sockets with PvE sockets rolling well.

The average piece of gear would be better with no PvE rolls but higher rarity gear should also be rarer to make up for it. It would make people excited, when they get an epic or legendary and it's not just about the rolls.

Also, this would get people to go deeper down than just Ruins because loot rates are better in Crypts and Inferno. Greens and blues would also be used more because higher rarity items are very rare in norms and somewhat rare in HR. In HR, mobs should mostly be elites rather than nightmares in ruins, 50/50 in crypts and 80/20 in Inferno.

HR PvE was where I spent most of my time after it was released. I play solo a lot. Never cared much for getting gear gapped or teamed on or surrounded by a rat infestation. It's unfortunate that it was released mid season and not given enough time to have real data and they want to save on server costs. Actual HR participation has been inflated by squire gear rats coming in to snag gear and it's still incredibly low. But they continue to tinker with rolls on gear to try to entice people to play it. No balancing with HR PvE, though. I mean, what if AP were 50%? What if there was a unique cap? Missed opportunity, I think. I bought redstones for the first time in a long while to show my support for HR PvE and now it's gone. I would have continued to support it each season, since I spend a lot of time on the game (9.2k hours).

I've played HR plenty. I've also played plenty of Arena. And I've done fine in both, but the experience in HR destroys the game experience. It's talked about like it is the end game, when ARENA should be the endgame. Gear is not affordable enough to run the best stuff often (like you can do in another extraction game). Make the best gear easily attainable and might be a better experience in HR, but for now S2R and Arena provide the best PvP experience.

I hope this is an alright channel to ask this in, and I'm not here to be a troublemaker.

I installed this game last night, and have not gotten it to launch successfully at all, I am now being thrown a 26-13 error which I am assuming might be some form of ban or AC related issue, especially judging by some of the replies to questions about it here.

Would love to know if that is the case so I don't waste time trying to mess with settings to run this, I did have a bunch of stuff the AC probably wouldn't like running at the time, nothing that directly interacted with the game though, which is why I'm unsure.

If anyone knows anything, I'd really appreciate it, thanks!
