Bro you realize that you will get faustian points for simply killing mobs and looting chests in your spawn right? You will always have it before you die to a player unless you get spawn killed. Problem is that its not "fight my second phase" its "fight 3 faustians while youre fighting another enemy team that 3rd partied you on the fight the people who are faustianing died in, so now youre 6v3ing on a 3rd party...."

Its just a waste of dev resources that did nothing but make the game more toxic and unlikeable. Its like they dont want new players to join the game

What is a beginner friendly playstyle for rogue. I'm a ranger main but recently started playing rogue and slayer fighter for some variety. So far rogue is fun with the castillon dagger, rapier and hand crossbow. Running double jump, poison weapon, locks and jokes. I saw a build using shortsword instead. Any thoughts/ideas on a good starting place? Really just doing pve right now trying to get the religion skin unlocked.

PvE mode, it's really whatever build you want, there's no PvP, so I would take like Trickster for the +2 for party plays, but other than that, the perks don't really matter PvE-wise, choose whatever you feel benefits you the most

For example poisoned weapon can help with some extra damage PvE wise, double jump is not really that important unless you're getting to spots to cheese mobs

I see. It's mostly just practice then for the weapon patterns/timing. Having such a short range with the daggers makes it a bit rough. So in a duo or tri o run daggers but solo i prefer the rapier for extra range. Is shortsword a better contender?

I would say it comes to personal preferences, shortsword hits fast, but also has a limited range

For reference, I main a ranger with a spear typically. So I always have range on my target.

Going from that much range to no range is kinda spooky and I am either too far away and wiff the hit or too close and I get hit back.

Rogue does seem fun though. I just don't know. I appreciate the information, I'll keep playing with it.

Problem isn’t “dealing with an NPC” (which btw is literally an oxymoron- NPC = Non-player character, these are characters bruh), the problem is dealing with 3 of them while you’re fighting another team who probably just 3rd partied you. Your main focus needs to be the other team, not a bunch of Faustian scumbags griefing you and causing you to take unnecessary damage/take focus from the real enemies. It’s a toxic ass mechanic

eh, its fine by me really, I never died to a faustian(and some really tried) and have killed plenty of players as faustian myself, I like additional level of tension faustian adds to otherwise completely ignorable pve in normals

you deal with faustian during pvp just as you would with 3rd party, space, isolate and kill or reset

You don’t die to the Faustian, you die to the trio you’re fighting while the Faustian are griefing. More of a problem in trios than solos. Also, it’s not about treating them as any other 3rd party because normally 3rd parties want to kill ALL other teams and survive. Faustians are targeting specifically the team that killed them and are kamakaziing said team while they’re mid fight

you'll find that most of those happen from Friday to Sunday.
You know why?

Because the in-dungeon experience gets stale, and at a 3x rapid rate when you reach 1000h in the game and know how to do a couple of bosses. And especially now with adventurer mode

And the ones that stick around are pvp folks like me, everyone else just burned out the game.
So, sure, play your game, pvp in the dungeon, but for how long?

Swapping Arena to SSF isn't a bad idea, but it should not be implemented mid/end of wipe. Your players have already invested heavy amount of time and gold getting the kits they currently use for Arena. This change effectively says "screw your time," yo those that have put that effort in.

Your playerbase only booms during Arena currently. Many of those players are just not going to come back since you've once again disrespected their time investment.

Adventure mode should not have a timer but should have more mobs spawn in as lobby stays open and slowly increase action speed and movepseed of mobs, first 5 minutes is normal, after that red mobs spawn, after 15 minutes nightmare mobs should spawn after 20 minutes mini bosses should spawn that roam the map, after 30 minutes double the action speed on mobs, after 30 double the movespeed. there is your hardcore dungoen crawler.

the amount of times I have gotten single shotted by some random mob... full tank build. 170+hp plated up. And you press F to open a door, and instantly get one tapped from a shotgun archer in the face, at the bottom of that module.

the penguin who is based on WIll is the only Spammable magic damage scaled attack which druid has
