Exactly my point: If you played back when teaming was allowed you would have no reason to think it wouldn't be. Or if you came from a game like Tarkov where natural teaming is so rare but most certainly is encouraged you would expect to be able to ally with people in the dungeons. There needs to be consistency in the rules and since we haven't seen it I can't claim to know how IronMace will act on any individual ruling. Like there's currently people removing foliage from the game to give themselves a tactical and frame rate advantage. It's currently allowed but might not be

I'm suggesting that there will always be a point you can get to where your gear makes up for any skill issue and there's a point you can get to where gear and skill together is unbeatable. The top needs to be lowered to make it more fair and skill dependant, that's the fundamental point of view I'm trying to express. If you have enough of any "stat that requires skill to utilize" that stat will eventually take no skill to utilize. I brought up move speed because if you're not very good but you're 30 move speed faster than someone who is good and can't hit you from range: it doesn't matter how skilled they are or how much action speed they have to express that skill: they will still lose to a less skilled player in better gear. Take that better player and put them in the same predicament and they'll always win too

i think tarkov is a brilliant example, ratting is counterable in the game and at the same time one impact grenade can take out multiple players if done correctly. no game is going to be 100% skill expression but tarkov fights revolve around map/game knowledge and shot placement

These developers have never heard of high availability DevOps.. Make pipelines maintaining two separate production environments, let players play on the live environment while you update the other environment behind the scenes, and SWITCH INSTANTLY... Then vise-versa when upgrades are required again. That way. You have close to no down-time...

5% is a lot when they can't only run dagger mastery to be positive phys damage anymore, it's a nerf at all stages, and rogue was strong at all stages. The zero scaling on daggers is going to do a lot more than you think considering it's losing about 30% of it's base damage scaling in bis PLUS it gets zero scaling with true damage now. And it no longer gets the true damage + phys power of the dagger mastery on top.

I'd argue there are ways you can overcome gear difference but they revolve around cheese. Like trap ranger playstyle for instance. But that is incredibly unfun to be on the receiving end of. As far as third-party and skill cooldowns that could perhaps be expanded apon with potions? But that would also contribute to gear difference. It's an incredibly difficult problem to solve. Would you have another stat added for evasiveness or something? I'm not too sure how to add another layer of defensive skill expression without making it unplayable for tim, jim, kim and vim

I'd say there are a lot of people who want to do goblin caves, even in trios. Pelt and gold ore is very lucrative, more than almost anything on ice caves other than wyvern and that doesn't have a 6k gold pelt drop. Only benefit ice caves has is wyvern can drop artifacts, insanely rarely.

I mean, if you need to see how bad the desync is for yourself, try using ray of darkness on your teammate while they're strafing. You'll be hitting them on your screen, but if you aren't leading their hitbox, it won't actually be hitting them because of desync, that's why ray of darkness is so bad. It literally doesn't do damage despite looking like it's connecting.

The desync is actually terrible, as someone who plays a lot of bard, more often than not I'll swap to my weapon after playing a song, and the song will not finish despite me hitting the last note and watching the song end.

You need to be more clear on many of these bullet points but at the end of the day it just sounds like you need to be patient and wait for these systems to be developed

As a wizard main, can I say how upset I am with the removal of Additional Weapon Damage being removed from Crystal Balls? Yes, Warlock and Fighter needed some nerf but I don't think this was the right approach. What about:

• Weapon Mastery explicitly excludes weapons from the category Magic-Stuff
• Kriss dagger gets weapon damage reduced by 2 - 3 points instead
