I personally didn't care that everyone else ran faster than me as a cleric. Basic blues and greens gave me 60/60 PDR and MDR. PFE reduced slow effects enough that they aren't felt much, and Pereseverance made sure I can take even more hits. If someone is kiting, I just ran in the darkness.

Yes. For example at the beggining of this semi wipe they removed random modifiers from gear. This was a staple of the game since their release. With this they also removed solo and duo which aprox 70% of the player base enjoyed. In the latest example they removed auto fill team option only to add it back and then remove it again a week later. The devs are genuinely insane and cant make up their mind about where to go with the game.

You can always adapt to any unplaybale game. They had a system where you could tell who your teammates are. Its very simple, their name is shown on top of their heads. It makes the game more enjoyable to play when your with your friends, and is surprisingly needed in a game with intentionally poor lighting and unintentionally bad character customization. If your ok with it dont quit, but for us this seems to be the last straw.

If we could only go back to a simpler time, and play the prealpha test build pulled straight from their github alpha branch. Call it Dark and Darker classic. He needs to make up his mind, solo players in trio lobby can't work. And if removing nametag is the only idea he have to make it happen then it 100% won't work. He either need to share his plan on how he think he can make that work, in detail, or just stop there, revert to solo and duo queues and start working on actual important stuff. Given the current state of the game, especially during this delicate transitional period, I believe making the arena available 24/7 would be a meaningful step in retaining both new and existing players. Continuous arena access would ensure more consistent data collection, encourage more robust PvP engagement, and help stabilize player sentiment around the semi-wipe and its relatively limited endgame content.

In short, the primary appeal of the semiwipe for many players lies in testing and optimizing new builds. Allowing unrestricted arena access would directly support that goal, keep gameplay loops more rewarding, and foster a more active and satisfied community.

I get some people are just contrarian, and don't like what the majority will like but it takes nothing away from fill-queuing except letting solo's and duo's spontaneously find party members, also you can see the in-game fill system was removed when the queue's were notified. SDF also made a most on 6/27 "The in-game party system has been tested to a satisfactory degree, so random matchmaking has been re-enabled"
