I only mind it from a class fantasy aspect, its weird that rogues these days are always presumed to have some sort of magic invisibility, I would love if they had some way to interact with dark spaces and be harder to see in shadows, but just disappearing feels lame, as someone who used to main rogue I never took hide; I always tried to make caltrops or smoke bombs work because thats a rogue is in my head; a thief, cunning trickster, mobile, sneaky, good at dungeoneering

100% untrue, I ran a 150hp full true rogue with hide/rupture, backstab, ambush, armor pen and would absolutely shred pdr fighters/clerics. I was face-boxing geared barbs and winning

Each vendors specific quests unlocks their own crafts. So if you are playing ranger, leathersmith and tailor would be the quest lines you should prioritize

And weapon Smith quests will unlock crafts for new weapons. The higher gear & weapons are locked behind a certain reputation threshold, which you get by completing quests.

One teammate skips every single mob and has a train of 12+ mobs following him, engages two teams of 3 while me and the other random are trying to get past his wave of one-two shot mobs.

• Teammates yell slurs and tell you to jump off a bridge.
• Teammates kill you when you wipe a team and somebody sees they have decent loot. They want it for themselves.
• Teammates kill you when you kill a boss in hopes to get the loot for themselves.
• Teammates kill you after hitting loot pile to fill up on more valuables.
• Teammates kill you after you throw down a campfire for everyone to heal at because you win a 3v3 fight - perfect opportunity to destroy and take the loot for themselves because you're locked in animation.

I guess this is the vision with realism - technically these are real possible dangers in a dungeon environment.

If you get into PoE1, 2 will be a breeze. A lot of simplified systems and league mechanics from the first game. Just some more polish on the combat and stuff. Reason more are playing PoE1 is because there's just a lot more content. but it'll flip flop between the two as each has new seasons/leagues etc. Keep an eye out on it

I played duos and trios with friends but I played solos by myself, which was much more often than I had the opportunity to play trios. We don't all have a ton of free time to coordinate with a group to get through HR together. I chose to grind it on solos because the game was enjoyable to play at many periods of time. I am unsure what to even think of the game if they don't bring solos back for the next wipe. I expect a great many people will ask for refunds and there is justification to award that to them, for the game they purchased will no longer be available for play.

1. People have legit been begging for solos back the instant they were removed. SDF barely listens to player feedback. The only times he reverts changes are when he is forced to do so due to the game dying out and him having bills to pay. The instant he gets his bag on the wipe, he goes back to whatever nonsense he's cooking up in #sdfs-kitchen. I agree that developers are free to listen to the community at their discretion, but it's pretty clear that the Developers' vision to improve the game is muddled at best. One example of this is their introduction and prompt removal of boss summons mid-wipe. The backtracking was so sudden that it just makes it seem that IM has no idea what they are doing.

2. That's what most of us have been doing? If you can't tell by now, the player count is dying, and many creators that are the lifeblood of the community are jumping ship due to the state of the game. We all love the core of the game, but the state of the game is just misery. Regarding his vision, the game has been stagnant for years. The game takes 1 step forward and 3 steps back, and we have been stuck in this loop for a long time.

3. True but not all changes are good changes. I doubt most would consider the addition of a seasonal pass something that added to the game overall.

We are a long shot from where the game was in the past. The game is barely getting 4k players total (including bots). We hate on the developer because he isn't trying to improve the game. He's in some fantasyland tunnel visioning on an idea that at this point he should know the players will never accept. So everytime he implements things that bring us closer to "his vision" he is always forced to take many steps back due to the backlash from the players forcing us into a never-ending cycle without making progress

@zinc sparrow have sdf bring back the swarm and the portals exactly how they used to be in the playtests. Remove all statics from the game except for maybe the elevators in GC and IC. He want's the game to have everyone together again like it used to be back then but he's still missing the major design aspect of the game they had during that time specifically for it.
The single use portals and having to find them also brought that sense of needing to escape and making it impactful, which this game is lacking. You were there for that time as well my guy I know you remember it.
Oh and unerf the utilities like invis potions, those were crucial especially for solos to avoid situations or potentially set up for an ambush.

W patches though, the game is slowly coming back. That orginal game in the playtests was peak.
