I think it's a combination of ego + pride

we've heard from a few people now that sdf doesnt listen to anyone on the team, and we know a lot of people that leave are subject to NDAs keeping them from speaking up about it. So sdf might have grown too big for his britches and just thinks EVERYONE is wrong except him
