Physical power make it with your strenght and you can see final additional % dmg from PhysDamageBonus. Ofc just pure+1 dmg to calculations is good for fast swing classes

Ok, that makes sense, thanks for giving me your time! I feel like this actually hits the nail on the head of what divides the community the most. The small % that have fallen in love with the game and have dedicated tons of time to it, overcoming the ruthless and punishing aspects of the game, felt like they were rewarded fairly for that commitment through being able to grind HR, boss, and prevail in pvp, and reap rewards granting great power (artifacts, etc). It looks to me like the goal is to move towards the less grindy players having a better time competing and playing along side the grindy players. This means less challenge and/or less stakes, which means less sense of accomplishment when you prevail, which makes rewards feel less meaningful. I think the big selling part for many was how ruthlessly punishing D&D is, akin to the experience of dark souls. I believe these changes are changing the identity of the game to something new (similar to how patch 69 changed the game's identity to something akin to a class shooter, it felt like I was playing tf2 all over again). The people that came for that identity (in addition to the ones that came for solos/duos) are the ones leaving.

Yeah he did finally answer me, I can finally uninstall the game till the wipe in august if they finally add new content. Its a shame a lot of people lost interest early wipe due to the decisions took and the last incentive was to grind cool endgame sets to enjoy in arenas, the bis Bloodthirst set with +4 all and 4 true phys unique set is gonna rotten in the stash. Next wipe wont have the gear disparity we have now, so neither the incentive to grind for it, the illusion of having a last dance with this type of fun was the only thing that tied me to the game so I dont know if the content that they say they will add next wipe is gonna be enough to hook me back.

Its easy you remove the problematic stats like +all attributres and movespeed on all pieces of gear and only let true magic/phys on rings and neck and they could balance it easily. Gear has been this way since the start of time and its been fine until the +all and movepseed additions. Instead we are starting from scratch after 6 entire seasons like its day 1 again. Iron mace develop this game in such a way that they are garunteed to make it fail when it should of been quite literally impossible to do so. SDF has 0 accountability and its honestly really sad to see this game burn, eventually all that will be left is charcoal and a memory. We all know what the lawsuit is about. Sdf and terry left nexon to make dark and darker independently. All the legal jargon aside, that is the core issue. It’s a real issue because studios spend a lot of money on R&D to find out if a game will be successful. So if say Todd Howard was developing Skyrim but decided to take himself and some important devs to a new studio to remake Skyrim himself, bethesda would have obviously sued him. The question is, should that be allowed? The obvious answer to me is no, because then studios will be even more picky and choosy on what games to fund.

That said, I think the reason anyone in here is blinded to that is cause they like dark and darker. If this all happened to a game you didn’t like, it would be clear cut wrong.
