I am deeply upset with the game developer SDF because the recent changes made to the game have completely undermined what made it enjoyable and unique in the first place. These updates feel rushed, untested, and poorly thought out, breaking core mechanics that players had grown to love and master. Features that once required skill and strategy have now been simplified or outright removed, catering more to casual or new players at the expense of the dedicated community. This alienates the long-time fans who invested countless hours learning the game’s systems, only to see that investment discarded. It feels like the developer either isn’t listening to player feedback or is deliberately ignoring it, which creates frustration and a growing sense of betrayal.

Additionally, many of the changes SDF introduced have introduced new problems instead of solving existing ones. Balancing issues that were previously under control have now spiraled out of hand, and the new updates have introduced bugs, performance problems, and gameplay inconsistencies. Instead of refining and enhancing the game, it feels like SDF is tearing down everything that made it work. What’s worse is the lack of transparency — vague patch notes, poor communication, and a defensive attitude toward criticism only make the situation worse. As a fan who once passionately supported this game and its community, it’s heartbreaking to see it devolve due to poor decisions and apparent disregard for player loyalty. I expected better from a developer who once seemed so in tune with their audience.

I think people's main criticism here is the amount of chances we've given the devs and times we've given them the benefit of the doubt. However they can only rely on that goodwill for so long before the customer starts to feel like they're being taken for fools and move on. Hence the current player count. Guys, don't forget that if you play the game, you are just sdf's lab rat. I've accepted this shortly after EA. And actually, I'm fine with it. I have fun most of the time I play and it was consistently the best ratio I ever got as far as money per hour spent in-game, even after buying red shards and buying the full game for a friend.

So many people take it for granted. And I do understand how annoying this rollercoaster ride is. But you can always opt out and check back in later if you don't like the current state.

1. make gear exciting to obtain without directly affecting combat.
   Modifiers on gear such as pve damage buffs, luck buffs (while also reimagining luck to roll a chance to roll a chance for a higher chest's loot table (for example like opening a small chest could roll marvelous loot table),

Even ideas like class specific stats -reload speed, draw speed, in combat spell recovery speed, passive healing, shield damage reflect, heal on block, vision % (which would make the lights dimmer or maybe reduce FOV or increase FOV

they may choose slightly obscure the edges of FOV as a "baseline" and then change it potentially based on perk and skill choices

2. maybe the "training" system could be reimagined to allow you to choose your own weapon swing patterns for each weapon. You could even unlock different swing options as push goals for things like quests or maybe as new purchases for a currency that might not exist yet, (this currency could be a reward from pvp kills, or maybe a reward from chests to keep looting chests relevant. Or, boss/treasure/crafting items from dungeon could be traded to vendor for this currency

for example you might want your arming sword to start out with a poke attack, then do a overhand left to right slash, then do an overhand right to left slash. or other various options for each weapon

since they already have the weapon swings broken into various timings based on hit/miss/block, it would be pretty straightforward for them.

basically the way they would do it would be each swing option would have a starting and ending point, and then the follow up attack options you have would be based on the finishing point of the previous swing

This would also make the combat feel a lot fresher because you'd have to learn and react and anticipate enemy weapon patterns which will always be different

versus now: someone sees you with a zweihander and knows exactly how each attack will begin.

Exactly. It’s a feedback loop. Because when you think about it, if say for exemple Dark and darker had a 400k player base distributed into solo, duos and trios, they wouldn’t remove those queues and make drastic changes. Now, because the player base is too low, they have to make a choice with the ressources they have. They can’t balance the game around solos duos and trios at the same time. Also, you can’t dilute 10k players into 16 different type of queues. So they change their approach.

Max health % is good the closer you are to the 2% mark for the modifier

It's a bit complicated vigor give 1.5HP by point below 34 vigor (or 148 HP), and 1.125 between 34 and 50 (Or 172HP). So the more you have HP the more Max healt bonus % is worth it. But alone it won't allow you to increase your HP enough

depends, if you have a lot of base hp, mx hp % will give you more than max health. and vigor gives you both health and life regen speed. so i'd say if you're a normally tanky class like barb or fighter, take max hp bonus and vigor, if not take max health

Classes that can run away very quickly should, for the most part, be among the slowest to open and close doors.
