I dont think this necessarily scummy, its the risk you take buying into something thats early access. You never know what the final product is going to become, and what they officially stated is intentionally vague for this reason.

Since launch, this game will time me out in loading screens if I dont reset my game between matches, it never timed me out going between floors, it just did while I got full BIS on, yea, perma uninstall I think. For starters csgo isn't a extraction game a better game to compare is tarkov which does not have solo or duo que and allows teams of upto 5 players. The issue with Dnd is if played alone you have zero chance of winning a 1 v 3 unless your the goat. With tarkov for example it's very possible to win a 1v5 even if your a average player.

• can’t use invis pots at base, but can go fully invis and move halfway across the map

• class is designed for all-in kill-or-be-killed playstyle. Meaning it will feel like doodoo or fell really good. No in between.

• double jump may have skill associated, but invis+cutthroat is boring to do and boring to go against especially in high GS

Not saying the class is OP. I’m saying it is hard to balance it for all levels of gameplay. It need a fundamental rework

On the dark and darker forum there has been an idea for an item wheel (traps, poisons, etc.) that would really make for more skill-based dynamic gameplay.

TBH I think Ironmace just needs to shift priorities. Rather than remove solos and duos and PvE they could leave those features in and work on new content. Balancing doesn't need to happen more than like once or twice per wipe and they don't need to give any resources to balancing solos and duos and PvE if they want Trios to be the main attraction for the game. So we should be seeing steady bug fixes, and new content progress constantly, with trios balance changes here and there. If Ironmace simply communicates that solos and duos and PvE will exist at our request but not in a "balanced" or "competitive" state then I think most people would be willing to accept that.

Obviously that won't make everyone happy, but imo it's better than removing features the community had specifically asked for

Its easy to die in pvp, but i think the skill ceiling isn't as high as other games. There is a ton of room for movement optimization but the effort to practical impact isn't that high.
