i tried it before and found it meh.. 3rd person, bad balance back then, main difference to me is its SSF based which i actually dont like since I cant do my old man routine of pvp->lootmykills->regear->pvp.. but combat isnt terrible shooting casting is still fun despite 3rd person and review s improved since release.. soon ill know more

SFD needs to give incentive to player test servers, and you shouldn't be spawning in naked with no cash to test out high level gear that you will need to grind for if any actual meaninful playtest is desired

Personally, I feel dislike and hate to Nexon, but NAKWON about zombies too , so i maybe give it a try... Also they stole idea from like 2008-2011 online zombie-looter game 😆 I played for a while, relatively large maps, camps where you can trade with a safe zone.. Although that would just make loose trousers (and other agility gear) BiS in terms of base stats though. IMO get rid of true damage entirely, and buff armor pen rolls. That way you need to decide if your going for tank shredding or shisshy one-shotting

TO also have a downside of maxing out a stat (e.g., mvm speed), they could add negative rolls on gear. For example, ATM, gear has base rolls with negative speed rolls (and they have more armor and reduce magic resistance gear). They could do something similar with every stat, so if you want to max strength, for example, then you would need to decide what stat to sacrifice (are you a glass cannon, are you a tank shredder, are you a squishy shredder, are you a speed demon that only tickles when damaging?)

They are planning to remove solos, yes. Their vision is a team-based game, not a solos game

The free queues don't allow people taking gear into the game so for the most part, you'll find players of similar level. But of course there are going to be toxic pros who hunt noobs because they are too bad to play aginst geared people. I recommend giving the game a try tho, such a unique experience. It's better if you can get friends to play with you but there is random matchmaking.

I'm glad things popped off and the Iron Mace team has been able to financially benefit from their creativity, hard work, tenacity and resilience.

However, I personally hope some of the original vision and feel is brought back before the game became hardcore min/maxing and BIS gear chasing.

Regardless of my hope, my bigger wish would be for IM to get back to creating content they enjoy and are proud of. It's exhausting in any endeavor to please others constantly; find the passion and joy again and ignore the noise. Hopefully the launch was financially successful enough to allow y'all that much freedom.

In this case I feel incentivized to first run rogue with traps, go into map, run directly to room, interact with whatever traps I can. Then kill myself and reenter. That is most efficient. We should have more quests that incentivize survival, the wizard wants a book from the library in crypts. We go to the room, find that book, and exit with it to return to him.

I think a good way to make it better is making the blocks cover larger areas to where you have to 50/50s, or at least less choices to mindgame the melee fights. Leg or head, left or right, or diagonals, etc. Just a thought, since full degrees of freedom on blocks make it unreliable and rng with desyncs
