and never get close enough to melee unless you have BOC up and already active or are ready to phantomize before they hit you 1 time because 1 time could be death if they are using a 2 hander

The decisions made by SDF as lead are actually horrendous. Missed opporitunies to make extra money left and right. Gear changes over and over so they are in a consistent state of balancing instead of content creation. Even his attempts at communication are shoddy.

I don't think the issue is arrows, I think the issue is damage scaling.
You can grow your damage must faster than your ability to resist it so high gear meta is based around ranged attacks and there's little to no reason to engage in melee. That's a huge reason for the totally out of whack barbarian buff we saw the patch before last.

Yeah, move speed is it's own whole huge issue. Bonus move speed needs to not exist on gear, the only way to get move speed needs to be by changing to lighter gear, finding stuff with +agi on it or by using class abilities. If you want move speed you should need to make a meaningful sacrifice for it.

I really think arrows are just the symptom of damage growing so fast and +damage being so prevalent. Once you tone those down arrows wont be a quick kill, in lower tier lobbies a longbow takes ~4 solid shots to kill and that feels about right.

Our "range" is not nearly their range. We all know the difference in the speed arrows are to our basically 1 ranged "arrow" spell. If you're looking at it at all you can dodge it from across the room super easy. We're a mid-range class with slow projectiles while archers are long ranged with high speed

It feels like more often than not Arena teams have two of the game class and I understand there have to be sacrifices for faster matchmaking but sometimes it's obvious it could have been avoided. The clerics I run into have a casual 320ms almost everytime, and a couple have had 330 w/ weapon out while still having 40+% pdr... It's quite ridiculous 🤣 but tbf- I've also ran into rogues with 200+ hp so... the game is feeling a bit- off. Rage & Shout are just univerally useful. For perks... depends on your weapon of choice. But I go for Robust, Potion Chugger (Morale Boost if i'm running trios- sometimes duos too.), axe specilisation and then Berserker. You could also run Iron Will for MDR. but Aside from clerics I don't see many magic users in solos atleast.

First order of business. 16 queues tops. Figure out how to do that SDF. If your sitting at 10k players active ish, 5k in dungeon. That’s around 300 players per queue which is still insanely low. But better than the current -12 per queue.

Put all the classes together with squire gear and its no longer a game of rock paper sissors, its a game of who can either cheese or whos the barbarian.

Only reason you'd win as a rogue with squire gear is if your opponent panics

Daggers ofc benefit from perks, but at the same time you could run other perks with Rapier. Tumble/Double Jump Rapier is super fun. Not a meta build, but fun

A good idea, but that doesn't mean that SDF isn't doing things right for its game and its company. Look, it's not just about questioning; the way it acts isn't healthy for the game or for its development team. I don't know if it's an exaggerated ego or if it really has big plans but can't organize them and prefers to give small updates rather than do nothing. Whatever it is, it's not doing development well.
