PVE currently is good only for Newbies, and if you just want to log in and casually wipe out some dungeons after day of work without stress.
They could do a lot better with it, like adventure mode where you delve in for long time in your own lobby fighting bosses etc. not the worst not the best start for first try.

Yes, unfortunately, SDF decided to test such drastic gear changes on the entire player base for the entire season.

Make 124 SSF only (stop the noob crushing. Beat them with skill, not bought gear.)

Keep HR free market but increase collectible drop rates. (Get farmers out of 124 and into HR so new players can enjoy the game.)

It'd be pretty difficult to tune with the way sorcerers are built, there might be a threshhold in there somewhere where it's good. A lot of the perks that entirely change how a class plays like that tend to be fairly difficult to balance though, I mean think about how many times Demon Armor for Warlocks had to be tweaked.

it will load you into a new dungeon with everything intact as if you were just progressing with everyone else. There's a 30s window where you can give stuff to a guy to save. It'll cost a little gold but it's nice to have for some special drops.

PVE Is a lot more accepting than PVP, generally you're looking for STR, +Weapon Damage, +Physical Power and +Movespeed gear for PVP. You want to cling to timmy and not let him get away.

Most stats in DaD have diminishing returns. And stats matter a lot depending on the rest of your gear. +1 weapon damage is nice on a dagger, but not so nice on a slow, hard hitting weapon.

@limber badge that's the problem, dude. The fact that MS is a stat that can be increased with gear rolls, is a massive problem. You are right. A fully decked out plate armor and heavy mace dude, SHOULD NOT be able to move at the same pace as a rogue in light cloth and leather. Forgotten castle: there's ruby silver in the first floor,the module is like a place with 4 statues, one of them has a hidden lever. The module most of the time is in the around the middle and, in normal mode, always spawn portals there. Fog was a legit good addition. Locking bosses behind items that take dozens of runs to get is far more obnoxious. All they needed to do was think about their implementation of it for more than five seconds. They have a tendency to not be smart about their changes and instead do the most basic form of a mechanic and then when people are upset that it sucks they just give up.

I would suggest fighter as a basic one. Focus on getting good armor and learning just how to use weapons. If you want to a mage, sorcerer is more beginner friendly but still hard

With free version you are unable to enter trade.. so well to be fair... it is fun if you enjoy low gs fights, but you will never be able to do constant high tier battles.
Also lack of being able to buy proper set + gems and such will slow progress a bit.
I did play around 40-60ish hours before I bought the game, it is worth the basic price for me for sure.
