Warlock with a hydra/drain can heal to full out of combat every single time. Just very memory dependant.

Druid with the perk that makes their HP regen more but you can't shapeshift makes you basically a regen machine.

Bard is fun, it’s probably my fav class. It’s got a higher learning curve knowing when to buff and play patiently but it’s solid. At this point fighter is probably just a little bit better though so I’d just go fighter if you’re looking to melee

Yeah the new pve mode is clutch but like I said Bard is one of my favorite classes. It'sgood with bosses, has decent survivability, and can dish good damage. The only thing is there is not a lot of variability when it comes to builds. There is just kinda one way to play it which gets a little boring

In general I look to build Dexterity > Max health > MS > Strength. But generally max health and dex are the big ones. Rapier got a nerf recently so I recommend the arming sword. The bard chat has great class builds and ideas on what to roll for on armor and weapons. The big perks you want to take are charismatic performance, superior dexterity, and war song. The best songs are rousing rhythms, beats of alacrity, shriek of weakness, aria of alacrity, balad of courage, and finally unchained harmony for rushing modules quickly so you can boss as quickly as possible

It sucks because I think we all love DaD as a game, and at the end of the day without Ironmace and sdf we wouldn't even have this game. But Ironmace 's handling of the game has been such a letdown.

This isn't an endorsement for Nexon either, fuck Nexon, and the legal debacle that happened I'm sure halted or at least slowed down DaD's progress. But even taking that into consideration, the constant back and forth and "vision" for the game has made it go no where, and the lack of communication by Ironmace doesn't help. Less and less people have been calling to "hold the line" because I feel like most of us have lost faith in Ironmace. This game could've been THE game, Ironmace 's magnum opus, but by now, unless a god tier wipe happens that blows every other wipe out of the water, they really dropped the ball for their game.

it's not just speed, you can just be screwed over by RNG by spawning on the actual opposite side of the map and it's not about just getting there, it's about knowing that that's where the boss room is even supposed to be

yea but 20 damage per 4 seconds (with half being true) is not nearly what i thought it came out to when i thought it was per tick. i was worried ab like 20 damage per second

Overall it's way less damage. If you stab someone 5 times with 20 true mag poison weapon you'll be doing 50 damage split over 4 seconds which is 12.5 damage per tick. But if you had instead 20 true phys then the second you hit the 5th stab you'd have done 100 true damage already.

It's just how Damage over Times scale in general in this game. And actually Heal over Times work the same way. +1 magical healing on a Druid spell doesn't apply every tick it applies to the total.

The only exception I can think of is Torture Mastery will actually apply mag healing on every individual tick. This is because the healing effect isn't actually a HoT but a trigger on dealing magic damage with a curse.

They did give it 0.15 scaling though so it's not too crazy
