If devs were not bonobos, there would have been enough playerbase through business development (i.e. micro transactions, expansions) and marketing alone. With enough players, noobs (i.e. those who need pve only mode) can just matchmake with other noobs. But because no content progress and no business progress, playerbase will continue to decline, and they will continue trying to save it with bandaids like "pve mode".

The reason that might be is multishot with a survival bow, however the damage of a bow isn't as strong as a melee weapon in speed, and their melee stats are weaker than every other class save wizard, so I think you should be able to rush them down with a shield or breaking los or shoot them back
