Ray of Darkness does bad damage.

Hellfire is purely mob cheese (bad for the game and useless besides breaking doors in pvp).

Bloodstained blade is not worth the cast time and gives a negligible buff for all the harm it causes the caster.

Curse of weakness is also not worth the cast time, as any damage you gain from shaving 15% off someones pdr (not flat, an actual 15%) is negated by the fact that instead of doing 5 more melee damage you couldve hit them with any other damage spell and been better off.

Lifedrain is terrible without hydra.

Not to mention you have only 9 memcap to start with, so hydrain BY ITSELF can’t even be used with base knowledge.

Half the skills are not great.

Demon can’t be used for more than like 12 seconds without an IV of 90 proof Trolls Blood (also the claws hit for nothing take away the weapons and give them a buff).

Dark Offering is an actual meme. So atrociously unusable, a build that can actually utilize it requires a ridiculous amount of will and resourcefulness (as well as meticulously upkeeping the buff for THE ENTIRE RAID)

ray of darkness does very good damage if build correctly, hellfire is good only bcz of the clear + doors, not all spells need to be pvp spells,bloodstained is decent with survival but not worth,weakness is STRONG, its 15% pdr + mdr and 15% of every stat, hydra is still one of the best spells in the game, lifedrain is mid, demon is good with enough gear and healer, dark offering would use a rework, and u didnt even talk abt the good spells..

The reason I brought up hellfire in terms of PvP is warlock is lacking in consistent damage spells. You have ray, bolt, and both curses.

Just wish we had a couple others. Warlock may be supposed to be a curse / debuff class, but we have one actual debuff with the rest being DOT that get abused with movespeed.

I don't quite remember from when I was playing (I really should lol), but does music playing incur the spell casting movement speed penalty? Wiki only states a .65 multiplier for casting/channeling, and I'm not sure if bard's music counts.

because that's how they balanced the class, with limited consistent damage spells, that's his counter basically. move speed build works when u don't capitalise his weakness the right way, the lack of consistent damage

Bloodstain needs a buff not weapon damage one

Curse of weakness could get this change but I think it's good curse. It works very good on Bards.

Life drain could get some rework.

9mem cap is a challenge but it's good as class Identity restriction. Maybe special mem cap perk is needed for 2 spell memory playstyle.

The problem with the campfire buff is that you never know when you're going to run into an enemy, and the buff should be stronger than any other utility since it requires a long animation and forces you to sit in one place for a while.

it hasnt split the playerbase by 3 times... its split the playerbase into sub 24s... 3 maps. 124s 3 maps. 224s 3 maps. open bracket 3 maps... then on 2 of the maps they are multi level... so for a region like oceanic it has split the 100 strong playerbase into 12 brackets.. and then add arena into that mix when arena is on and its even more brackets because of MMR... so you have diddly squat chance of seeing anyone that isnt a FREE to play gold farmer wtih alphabet soup names

nope lightning spells are on their own, you need to try ignite rondel build because its very strong, you can use Mana Surge, Fire Mastery, and whatever else, but its very random in a situation where one moment the wizard is casting spells and we end up in london getting shanked to death, it really plays into my aggressive playstyle 😄
