a big problem with testing solo self found and planning for it to last a month, is that players behaviour will not be representative for a true self found experience. You will see players hoarding high value items for when the self found period ends and then sell it. In a true self found, those items would be utilized by the players and change the dynamics in the dungeon. That is unless they wipe after a month.

It's because you have to build true physical damages first. Frost amulet, true phys on rings and on gloves 🙂

It's all about damage calculation. You should take a look at the wiki, there is the formula. But to make it simple, true physical damages are not reduced by armor, that's why it's very strong against PDR

Just consider that those true physical damages are applied at the end of damage calculation and are not reduced by armor. Can't dive deeper in the details as I don't master it myself but look for the dark and darker wiki, take a look at the damage formulae and read about true phys. hope this helps

With tha actual AP setting you'll be fine, you don't have to extract to make AP and don't pay an AP fee to start a run. A good wat to make AP even if you'r not that good is to play Forgottent castle and simply go inferno. That's at least 200 AP, if you can on the wat try to open portal, big chest and gather some treasure in case you manage to extract from inferno. Killing mini boss also is good for AP, basic monster give a bit of AP too

Prob because of the range meta never ever changing. Rogues, druids, sorcs, and Rangers constantly claim they are unplayable and yet you almost cant fight themm as a melee clas lmao. Doesnt feel good to die to a hail of arrows, or when a sorc just teles to the top of a ledge and lightning stoprm, or druid infinite resetting. If you want people to play change the way all the characters work or give the old chars something to fight it. Hell even wiz has a spell count and you can fight it. Infinite reset bullshit and rogues hiding everywhere lol no wonder people quit

occultist boots still shouldn't be almost as slow as plateboots and slower than heavyboots imo
