Also, there shouldn't be HR lobby. Just do a MMR based on successful exactions or something. Splitting everyone up doesn't make sense to me. Simple is better.

What I would do is alpha-crypt with BR-ring as the formula base and do revovling maps with a MMR that is hidden. Game to me was about the moments within the crypt, not even so much about gear or looting. Just trying to survive each raid.

Like, waiting right out side of a closed door and hiding with the ring was closing, just planning your next moves. It was so much fun. All that feels like it has been ripped out.

eh, they could do better. A lot of what worked can be tweaked to work better. They just have to realize why. I'd take alpha-crypt as the general layout and maybe do "dying rooms" instead of the BR ring. Then adjust the crypt to look different if they're worried about how it looks.

Either way, I don't see the current game surviving. It simply isn't the same. It was better being a BR game on crypt. It wasn't so much the ring as you're being pushed and had limited time to loot each room. All of that and pushing players into each other worked well.

Fair point, I think it would drive up the value of craftable recipe gear, still force folks making illicit exchanges to play through quest lines.. which is often a deterrent in general. I think they did a great job making gambling of any kind against policy which will make it far easier for them to find folks breaking those rules. That part wasa step in the right direction but they really gotta chill with this whole "different direction" vision. They completely disrupted the market with this game on the front end.. so much so MANY copy cats dumped money to capitalize on their issues with steam and ongoing lawsuit. I think their intention with the sorc changes was to give your abilities long cooldowns, but you could circumvent the long cooldown by ice blocking yourself since they made it increase CDR by 50% while ice blocked. So dump your entire load onto someone then ice block yourself to speed up the CD recovery process. Rinse repeat.

But u spend all that money and time to be 3 tapped by ranger, nuked by wiz before u can cast (they have fast cast and more spells to spam,) ran down by barb/bard (silence song + bowswap is how u 100-0 sorc easy,) or cutthroat and destroyed by rogue/panther.

Overall, WHY would you want sorc on your team over anyone else? They offer the least consistent damage as of now and have zero team utility.

IMO Sorc SHOULD be a powerhouse if it doesnt get any utility options.

A good sorc player is still super deadly. Also, they're one of the few classes in the game that has just an outright hard CC. Also Crazy Wolf, have you tried the knock up into bubble slow-fall? It's hilarious. Knock them up with that explosion, then trap them in that water bubble that slows their fall then just prime ele blast and they can't do anything about it it's hilarious.

With the cooldown reduction across the board for Sorc spells, it literally does become a skill issue if people are still on you. Look at the ones I've highlighted in bold. You can literally just cycle those out now, and that's before any gear stat changes take effect. If people are on top of you that's quite literally a you problem. And I don't say that condescendingly. If Barb has Iron Will or Fighter has Breakthrough, then just tele away and don't stop running until the fighters buff wears off and you lose the barb. Not having an insta-cast teleport is not gonna change the skill diff, especially when building for it comes into consideration. Sorc got buffed not nerfed.

Wizard needs a nerf though. Their copycat spell that let's them fire off a second, just as powerful instant fireball needs a nerf. That is busted.

Because of a few reasons. Main one being they're using Morning Star. That weapon is literally bugged. It's has a significantly longer attack range that it visually should. I think it also outputs more damage or more armor pen than it should too I believe. If you're a Cleric also then you're doing yourself a disservice not using it.

Gotta think of morning star right now more as a short spear than a long hammer. Odds are between desync and the visual range bug, on your end it looked like you knocked his head twice, but on his end you probably hit him once in the head and two in the arm.

Warhammer is pretty strong right now. Could just say screw it and go full on Crusader with Smite, DP and a Warhammer.

I know weapons when this game first came out had sweet spots. Not sure if they do any more or not. If they do though then it could of been you were hitting him with the haft of the morning star and not the star portion of the morning star. you can. you can interact before a dreamwalk and continue interaction. if anything the swarm proccing dreamwalk is a buff for druid as long as you arent fighting boss or anything. because you can stop it from activating if you just stay in animal form, and in all fights youll constantly have a guaranteed cooldown on invincibility where you wont have a take a chunk of damage to activate.

Would be even better if Banshee and SK drop the same key so people can make a run for the gold there too.

Man, I kind of got into Dark and Darker from streaming, etc. Population is way down. Last week had an average of 6k people in DnD Streams per day. We're down to 1.2k or so watching streams.

Its just sad to see. Like, other large content creators are saying that they're not happy with the state of the game, and so are a lot of players.

So, real question. Ive had two friends try out the game, and bounce off, because its so hard core. However, everyone is saying that you should be playing Duos or Trios. The friends that did play the game, just didnt like how unforgiving the game was. I have about 200 hours or so. Nothing crazy. So, when I join a Duos or Trios, and say that Im a newer player, people dont want to play with me.

All MMR ratings have now been reset to test the new MMR formula along with MMR range restrictions for teams. The MMR difference between the highest and the lowest member in a party can no longer exceed 390 MMR. maybe MMR is account wide and not your ranking?

Despite the ppl complaining they're actually better than ever. Not having an instant cast teleport feels like a big hit until you realize that them dropping the spell classes down a notch kind of counters the nerf. Every other spell of theirs though got a casting time buff. Like significantly. The only argument you could make to another class being as skill-less Druid would be Barbarian, and that's only for a specific build. Barb has multiple builds but only one that's really "Hold W key to win". Druid wins just by existing pretty much lol. Especially since mobs can't hit you in rat form.

Literally just gather up a bunch of mobs and run them to the nearest player, go into rat form and wait for the PvE to kill them. Free loot.

When will we address the real reason heal druid is so powerful? The fact that dreamfire/magi heal stacking lets you heal all teammates for a massive amount of health at the same time. The fact you can hit multiple targets with dreamfire to duplicate said heal stacking. You can heal for 60 plus health per teammate as a druid with dreamfire and with high spell casting speed its once per second.

Its great near the end of the wipe, when gold is hard to hold on to as a game design element, the market just crashes. SKs are at 3.5k from 10k. Sorry. This game is dead. You cant hold onto gold, so youre subject to market crashes.

However, if you want a Legendary quality Mace, they start at 1k.

Listen, as a solo player, there is not much you can do vs some classes. Its literally rock paper scizors. Like caster Warlock vs rogue, rogue with cutt Will always have advantage Over. You need to rely on your tools to not get bursted on damage.
Use Doors. Doors are your friends.
Druids are OP btw. No other class as the ability to go in a fight , get out , heal , and go again.

But with my barb is 6.1

Druid is just bad on 1x1. They are weak in human form, and they are clumsy in any atack shape form.

To kill someone you need to reposition a lot and pray they make a mistake.
With other classes you can make a lot of mistakes while u just kite

Not good druids sorry. There is a diference between someone who has played druid for a seasons, got level 80 or something, and a druid that has been playing for almost 3 seasons and is level 400. The diference is huge. If you think this is wrong, go to ice caves wyvern on EU, and try to fight those druids that do wyvern on panther form and then come tell me druid dies to everyone xD

Im druid lvl 300, i look druids on internet the kazaren rank 1 and other people and they mostly die on 1x1 fair fights.
Now u see skinny pete he never die to a druid. He kill a lot of druids with his barb. With my barb is the most easy fight.
Who dont understand how weak druid is, is prob a noob that is feeding druids.
