In my experience there is a portion of players who have a lot of play time that exclusivley play in -24 lobbies. They are looking for "balanced" combat and being min/maxed feels unbalanced to them. however what they dont realize is that the devs dont balance the game for -24 solo queue lobbies so ofc its going to feel that way.

It made most encounters great honestly, people either saw the BiS and ran, or greeded to death for it. Yeah the entire setup of how you grind AP, the entrance fee, AP loss on death, and that it's the only way to get exclusive rewards which only fuels fomo. it's just a bad design combination encouraging boring gameplay

Game would be better off with a battle pass style method for HR play, just encourage player activity, gain points by playing, for pvp kills etc. But there's a crowd that gatekeeps it needing to be some sweat fest of only the best should get rewards, even though it clearly isn't working because a lot of people are just avoiding pvp, aren't good at it, and still hitting demi through sheer mindless boring grind.
