This. I run longbow and never have a problem. A white LB does ~38 damage, that x5 is 190, and that is body, not including any headshot multipliers. If you can't take someone down hitting 5 shots, it's not the classes fault

Double edged sword for me, it made the find “x” room quests annoying and zero fun, but outside of that I like the RNG, feels like dungeon crawling again.

But also for bossing a little annoying have to find the room, and then deal with everyone else who keeps loading in.

Yeah they messed up knockback across the board. If someone is standing still they get knocked back, but as long as their moving they only get knocked straight up.

That's the thing man, I am playing a bit of barb and it is so insanely boring lmao. Of course I lose sometimes, but most of the time it feels like free low-effort wins. I'm not as much complaining about being stomped by barbs as much as I'm saying their current state in solos makes the overall dungeon ecosystem so much less enjoyable. When 60-70% of players are all playing one class, and it's not because of the excitement of that class being new, that means there is an issue imo. PDR fighter is great to deal with Barbs though so I'm not surprised you're finding them easy to cut through, maybe I'll switch over to fighter after I do some bossing

I think it is partially due to latency but not entirely, around 30%.

The real issue, from what i understand, is that what you see as a 1st person character and what's going on with your player model on a 3rd person scale is slightly different, and that causes you to block an attack with a shield in 1st person, but an opponent viewing you in 3rd person sees the shield at a different place, and is thus able to literally attack through your shield from your perspective.

I watched a barbarian do this yesterday in Arena.. He's about 2300 rating, goes in with a club, a shield, and buff duration on EVERYTHING. He had 3 enemies hitting him, including his own figther teammate, and his health did not go under 80% .
on top of that, he had the perk that heals him about 60-70 per kill, and a nice comfy 63 PDR on top of that.

you have to play perfect with the rogue every fight, if you can't get the first 3-5 hits on someone you literally just have to run away and reset, find another opportunity. my easiest kills are when the player has their weapons sheathed, that's almost always a guaranteed kill--go in for about 6 hits back up, shoot a crossbow, try for a throwing knife or 2 then go back in if they're not dead yet.

That's something I think they've needed to nerf for a long time now, it's ridiculous that the most physically powerful and highest health character in the game has an ability that grants him max move speed. But I do find something that helps when fighters or barbs use their speed boost, If i have room in my inventory i just pop off my chest piece and/or pants and it shouuld give you enough of a boost to get away if you already have some distance between each other.

I think the main problem is that you get queued up with randoms while other teams could have a full on premade. If they separated ques between soloque teams and premade teams, it would feel better. — It's kinda like how LoL forces you to be on a 5 man team of all soloquers instead of having a 1v1 ARAM mode, because they know the balance and fun of the game is mainly in the 5v5

Economy is fubar... 100% return rate on items ensure that there is no net loss of gear in circulation, only changing hands, Santa spewing out cheap purples [10 Gold per cane to hand pick gear you desire, not stopping me from getting all those padded tunics/loose trousers that will never leave the games circulation unless I forget to claim insurance], and there is very little ways for gold once obtained to be lost. Ways gold is lost is only through market fees, gem socketing, merchants [potions mostly] and goblin service I believe, rest just changes hands constantly. Finally with exfil gates always open from start to finish essentially means most players which find anything worth a damn can instantly exfil, adding it to the loop of it being plundered by a player or recovered from goblin merchant until someone deems it unnecessary to recover from merchant. Seeing troll pelt and things like rusty key skyrocketing in value is just... fuck. How does the new player actually get their first real money storage? Troll pelt was 10k... how do they get 10k without reserveing literally an ENTIRE page for coin bags and then some? Impossible now that its still climbing....

TL:DR Once gear is found it never leaves circulation, money sinks are too little, santa crashing purple gear's value, readily available exfils means more loot is making it to economy than ever. Troll pelt which leads to the first real money storage is unobtainable for the new player with the impossibility of getting that much gold without flooding around two whole pages with just coin bags.

Nah it’s probably server to server issue. I get it on East NA some days. Just keep clearing it out and relog. It should work eventually. Sometimes I gotta leave it and come back an hour or so later. Some days it’s fine or stutters but the only game that does that so I think it’s my internet provider to their server.

This is what will eventually kill it, imo. It's fatally poisoned against new blood. It's too much of a wall, the majority of the playerbase is 800+ hours. Everyone's friends already tried the game and left. Maybe if they hadn't completely flubbed the F2P launch. Yep it’s ultimately the community though. It’s like this in Tarkov but even worse.
