I play a great variety of mages, clerics, fighters and even bards sometimes and with all of them it is the same story. It is incredible that being a mage I am not faster than a barbarian.

Lantern shield is Busted rn and i love it shoulda started abusing it last wipe when they gave it the parry it's just the most finnicky parry in the game

The barbarian simply does not make sense, he has no weaknesses or at least not like the other characters.
it doesn't make sense that he has so many strong points
180 of average life have
they kill you with a maximum of 3 hits (if you can resist more it's because you have divine protection with the cleric).
They run too fast to be so lethal in melee.
What I mean is that all the weaknesses that you can give to the fighter, the cleric or the bard, the barbarian doesn't have them because he is super unbalanced, he can't have much life hitting so much or he can't hit so much having so much life, he must have a balance that thing.

it's one of those parries that takes a bit to figure out because lantern shield has a hitbox problem where most things are half blocks not letting you parry and sometimes chipping your health a bit

Spacing and knowing where to aim your block/parries is the key, bear druids are pretty easy to kill close range once you learn your spacing

Squire is good, I would class that is QOL that should've been there since the start though. Arena has massive flaws but could be decent. Continuous dungeons are extremely divisive, probably a case of it just being poorly implimented, the idea behind it is fine. Loot buff overall was ok but now that everyone can instantly farm inferno for uniques their value has been massively dimished

Extraction games have been the next big thing since BR's for a while now, and hardcore games are also very popular, Rust and Tarkov have been some of the 2 biggest new IP's in the last century. august 2025 will be 2yrs in EA and tbh we probably gona be in EA for 5 years at this rate. the devs had to hire a ton of new people to help develop the game while they fight their court battle in KR against nexon. we got like 20k concurrent players at basically any given time. sometimes peaking to 25 and lowering to 16~. DnD is doing ight right now and theres tons of new content coming. Thing i find with Hardcore bases is they tend to complain constantly cause of the hardcore aspect. the game has its quirks like any other and its about adapting to understand them
