yes. However, luck decreases frequency of white/green, increases frequency of blue/purple, but legendary/unique comparatively is still pretty low drop chance even at high luck. best way to go IMO is to get luck and hit inferno, you get the extra Luck from going down 2 times

Well thats why you get pushed, bows decrease movement speed when you are shot. A good bard can slow you down through most of your rage while shooting you. Crossbow are basically a free excuse to push after your first shot, the reload is a huge opening.

The gear drops are good right now. He'll rares sell just as much as legendary. My issue is it doesn't feel like the devs want to address class balance or more over the meta. Changing gear instead. Rare gear does not sell as well as legendary, it's all about rolls now. Rarity doesn't matter that much. Unless you're playing solos only which will never be balanced barb is not the best class. I'd say it's pretty balanced compared to previous wipes for trios, which they are balancing for. Been here since PT3

I understand what you're getting at. I'm not sure what's going on in the office, but as far as I can tell they still need a lot of content to keep the game population stable. I think that's their main concern, people have short attention spans and doing QOL or Balance adjustments don't feel like actual changes to the game. I think their plan to rapid fire different types of content to keep attention is good enough until they figure out how the majority of players want the game. I agree it's not super enjoyable if you're playing it day after day, but if you're looking at the long term I think it works best for keeping the game alive and funded. I personally am very happy with the state of the game.

And if swimming sucks the backlash... and the thing is people still just grind crypts for gear and get bored again. If they made ice caves a 3 layer like FC then I could see the vision but looks to be another stand alone map, why? Some thing that would keep it interesting the full force on the random dungeons and more so for random mob spawns and chest, that would Make the repayable way higher then another stand alone map that people will ignore for crypts, just look at ice caves. Also cool idea is in game events, how about a shrine of combat that summons mobs or inversely a shrine of sacrifice that needs mobs to be killed near it to activate.

They said that all maps are planned to have 3 layers so I think the ice caves is still cooking. They also confirmed random dungeons are coming in full force to all maps asap. Some people have suggested random events that show on the map when all the maps are randomized which I also think is similar to your combat shrine idea. I think all your suggestions are good, and a lot of them were covered on the most recent darkest hour podcast dev Q&A, I recommend you give it a listen they covered a lot of the plans for this wipe.

I have listened to them, part of reason I defend IM is because I know they do want this game to succeed. I just question some discussions and they don't give reason to about 80% of them. I get what you're saying about the underwater thing, I don't think it needs to be a priority either. I'm not saying they have the best sense of what should be next, but from what I can tell they have a lot of plans that I like. I don't care what order they come in, but that's just me. If for some reason everyone stopped playing and the data showed their moves are failing I think they would change course. But so far it seems okay to me. For awhile before this wipe I wasn't sure if I'd even play anymore, but this wipe really re-ignited my interest in the game, and if they can keep doing what they did for this wipe going forward I say let them cook. I just hope they can keep the game alive long enough to do all the stuff they're planning. I don't think anything you've said is wrong, it's all opinion and hard to know what's right. I think we both just really enjoy the game and want it to succeed. We just gotta hold the line 😛

The issue is you’re farming troll pelts, crypts/inferno boss’s drop some of the most expensive gear in the game. Pulv, DB, Fulgor, these are all items worth tens of thousands of gold each.
