@glad thunder @rugged lintel @zinc sparrow I'm loving the open dungeon system. With that being said, and with dungeons and areas being more accessible in good way, making it feel far more like a dungeon crawler. The only problem with the loot, is how abundant it is. This is easily noticeable with how cheap EVERYTHING is on the market except the highest tier meta items.

Originally gear needed to be abundant because there was no gear matchmaking and dungeons were a forced battle royale at the end. With that not being the case anymore. I'd love to see you guys lean even more into the dungeon crawling experience. Less gear loot, so finding something is actually a bit more exciting, but also adding a lot of new alternative loot, and increasing the odds of finding trinkets, gems, and gold coins (pushing for the idea of bringing in gold bags as well. The whole point of the lore is you're going dungeon diving after all.) This would also push for the NPCs and merchants to not be entirely useless like they are, and incentivize players to actually buy gear from them, as the middle ground option. Right now all you need to do is just use the Squire system (please don't change or remove this, its been amazing for my friends getting into the game, which they never would have without it), then buy a bunch of epic/legendary cheap gear on the market. The whole system is broken right now.

You can also have more trade ins for the treasures you bring out. Such as Copper coins can be turned in for silver coins, which can be turned in for gold coins. Or copper and silver smelted down into copper/silver dust, as it is now.

Like-wise, you can have more smelting options with the blacksmith. Turning those silver/gold cups and goblets into silver coins, or gold dust, etc.

The game going in the direction of a nitty gritty dungeon crawler, instead of a battle royale is the best change and I'm loving Dark and Darker all over again.

I'd also suggest increasing the time of dungeons, to allow for that "dungeon crawler" experience, especially if you're considering having maps be covered with a fog of war system, and be randomized. Having someone die, searching for an alter which could be anywhere because of the randomization, and then getting them all their stuff back, leaves you almost no time to actually loot or do anything else. 1 team fight + searching for an altar to revive + sorting out all his goods and going back to get his inventory off his dead body.. you have no time to do anything else, as now you have to search for an exit so you don't get caught out and die looking for one at the last minute.

This worked when the game was a battle royale and everyone was pushed to the center of the circle, but the time constraint simply doesn't feel good and kills the flow of the exploration, and survival element of the game which the dungeon crawler experience gives now.

After doing a normal run and have items equiped is there a way to quickly move all items to stash / reset items to basic starter ones instead of moving everything manually? Gobo caves pve is easiest but theres alot more pvp, imo frost caves has the hardest pve but i run into less pvp on that map, ruins is kind of the middle ground, its big enough where you dont have to fight if you dont want to, once you get the hang of fighting skellys and wolves its not a problem at all

id say if your new to the game learn either gobo caves or ruins first, ruins has the most progression in the game being able to go down 2 floors, if youre trying to build money, frost caves into ice abyss is the best, specially if you run a torture master warlock, just throw your two curses out on a skelly and throw on flame walk and run circles like its COD Zombies lol

those quests were a pain, it took me 40+ runs on a door smashing barb to find old tombs, i started fresh at lvl 1 looking for it and ended with barb lvl 55 smh. the quests would be 1000% better if the rooms were guaranteed to spawn on the map
