The reason for my suggestion is because right now everyone builds for ms, the only build is ms, and the only build for fighter is sprint + whatever

If you were to give everyone sprint then it would be a more even playing ground, lower ms players would have longer cooldowns then higher ms players. but it would open up build variety if you didnt have to try to build for specifically movespeed
(and figher would finally be able to use a different skill on Q)

Stuff like that, and the guy yesterday suggesting the entire revive system needs to be redone are crazy. That's the last thing this game needs, it needs in game conyent/new stuff to do in-game that makes the overall gameplay loop more interesting and keeps people engaged longer. The new class, the training system, new weapons/armors, social area are all things that the game would actually benefit from.

Fighter also still has ranged options another compromise is that fighters can have a more powerful sprint then the rest of the classes

For barbarian, they have rage, the ms bonus can be reduced slightly to make way for the new sprint

For bard they can have the "generic" sprint

For casters the gear cost is incredibly high since they have to focus everything on getting every single point of ms they can, im thinking that with this change high ms gear wouldnt be as expensive and ms wont be as valuable as it is, as you say, everyone will just play around waiting for sprint cooldowns, but with lighter gear your cooldowns would be less then if you had heavier gear, same with stacking resourcefulness, it would also decrease the cooldown, but if you were to get your opponent to pop sprint before you, then you can take advantage of that fact and now you have an advantage

The main reason for my sugguestion is because there is a ms limit of 330, that means that for people running 325ms it will be easier to catch them if you're wearing 300ms, if you both have sprint and move at 330 ms you wont be gaining on each other but at least itll be an even playing field allowing for some cheeky moves

Imo a good thing to try instead of giving sprint to everyone or making everyone faster would be to give class more control skill/spell/perk and/or more movement skill like thumble or backstep. Maybe also add some consumables that can slow or root people. That way catching/dodging someone is more about hitting your slow or your movement skill at the right time, it's more skilled than just stacking move speed

Fighter doesnt NEED to always run full pdr though, you can get rid of sprint to use another skill if you build for movespeed, sprint is a crutch for plate. but building for plate is so much cheaper then high ms, and dont forget you have ranged options

If there is 1 thing the QandA has shown me is that the devs STILL are hard stuck on prioritizing balancing gear and classes over making new content. Honestly i don't understand any of it at this point. They seemingly purposefully break the game balance by their own doing every once in a while. So if they keep doing that. There will be NO end to this cycle of balancing changes, it just hinders the release of new content.

Why if they have such a big backlog of things they wanna work on AFTER achieving balanced gameplay do they KEEP BREAKING THEIR OWN GAME. The way they balance classes is just ridiculous. The numbers they shift around are INSANELY out of touch with actual balance.

They always shift back and forth between completely OP, and nerf into the ground bad. Never do they take a middle ground approach. Never do they actually show any sign of aiming for ACTUAL BALANCE.

They re release ruins to make everyone hate the best map because ruins is so dogwater. They ruined castle and inferno with ruins. They dont use any test server approach to genuinely see what player feedback is or what bugs are. The games slowly dooming itself, I saw something similar with "The Cycle Frontier" not the same issues D&Ds fanbase has but if you dont make any positive changes then your game will die and no longer be a thing.

having norms at <25 and 25-125, is good for learning nothing that is really game breaking dumb builds for new players to learn how to build and what they should be looking for. HR the more competitive gamemode with 125-250 is enough for them to be more confident with their build and try dipping their toe into the harder and more gritty gameplay that is HR 250+ is the open ocean where anything is free game

I feel like... you misunderstand the current system that exists..
Normals are now capped at 124, players can mess around and practice in normals up until they feel confident for HR's

Highrollers now have a lower entry of 125 and go up to 250 for id say mid tier equipment to gain even more skill and attempt high roller pvp and runs.

After you get better/more confident you can easily in this current patch gear up over 250 with no issues, of course now you will be fighting BiS sweat lords that will probably dunk on you. That is just part of the game. I think it works out pretty decently in terms of keeping decent matches vs queue times.

I agree, Castle does feel the most well balanced in terms of breathing room and mob density, Frost and GC just feels kinda dense with mobs so it's a chore. We do seem to get a lot of desync in fights though. No issues opening things or with mobs, but we've had multiple people not die after multiple hit regs on our end (visual + sound) and then we die in 1-4 hits.

Example: last night a fighter took a total of 11 hits from longswords, 8 from my buddy, a fighter, and 3 from me, another fighter, and he still hadn't healed completely from at least 1 survival bow arrow to the chest (maybe 2) and 1 crossbow bolt to the chess.

@glad thunder a system of aestetic progression with some small bonus on weapons and armor similar to what dungeonborne did will be of great use at reducing the weight of the wipe, steam player could play a bit and then hop in again and have something to progress with, right now feels like its pointless doing everything since nothing will last, some small bonuses and aestetic wont ruin the pvp at all , its clear that average steam players want at least some incentives like that to let them hook in the game , not everyone Is happy with dying 2000 times and to get nothing in the long term and we see It from steamchart, letting them have a mean of progression Will probably be the reason to play and possibly return After a pause, those are my 2 cent following the game from 2 years and After 1k hours, Hope It helps.

They can fix ms meta by implementing some sort of endurance mechanic. Everyone is the same speed. Use endurance to sprint. Much easier to manage...spells and attacks drain endurance.. endurance can regained over time.

There is a reason dark age of Camelot still has some of the best balanced team pvp in the last 20 years.

Perhaps armor now drains endurance faster when you sprint. Jumping could use a small amount of endurance. That would help the bunny hopping bs.

Yes, in the Ice Cavern. The second floor is called Ice Abyss. To get there you need to go in the south part of Ice Cavern there's 2 module with big hole that lead to the void if you jump in too early you'll die but around 2-3 min left on the timer you'll start to see a red aura in the void, that mean you can jump to go down to Ice Abyss

What is to be done with items that do not come with a stat? Many of them are practically useless compared to similar options that have a stat attached and this disparity only grows as rarity increases. But what can be done to them without making them too strong? Perhaps 5 luck base, increasing by 3 every rarity? Then at least they would have a purpose of some sort?

I don't include Lightfoots in this category because they increase in ms bonus by rarity which is plenty strong enough.

Their stat is magic resist. Most items don't have magic resist but they have a pretty high amount

Stats are just far too valuable and you can just throw on something with will on it

Mr is great against the magic classes, but you will get 1 shot clocked by all the melee monsters out there.

I think that the items scaling armor and mr is a good enough idea but it needs a little something more without just adding more armor or mr or making their ms penalties less

races barely affect anything, its just minor stat changes. <24 gear score bracket is for new players but unfortunately some older players still roll players on them as theyre either too scared to play the real game or too bad and hate to lose pixels that wipe anyway

next season might introduce a 'sewer' map which is for new players aswell.

There are two warriors in the Goblin Cave. They work together as a team to kill the enemy. At the end, the two warriors kill each other and let one party leave with all the equipment, and the equipment of the dead one will be brought back. , the one who dies can get the equipment back at the cheapest price.

Hello, you can try some things we know that lessen the lag and stutter, please go to launcher settings in Steam/blacksmith and type -DX11 -USEALLAVAILABLECORES this also should help the crashes

Bard is very versatile, you can play him in various way. Either self buff to get damage, move speed, action speed or buffing your allies or debuffing ennemy. You can play both Crossbow or Surv bow so you have range option.
Cleric can be played as a healer/buffer of course, either with a light gear to stay a bit fast or a PDR build. You can also try to do a melee/tanky cleric with PDR and Judgement/Smite

I've been doing some more thinking about sorcerer being able to cast without a focus and originally had some worries about it that have become more worries

Movement speed is arguably way too important in this game, to a point that not wearing armor in base kits is just better than wearing the gear for their stats, and having a class that can attack without a weapon drawn is a HUGE advantage not having that movement speed penalty. They could still have "spells out" as an option to help fix this as well as other methods to fix this too if they've actually thought about it
This issue also bleeds into the geared side of the game as well

Then, even assuming this isn't a problem, sorcerer would also be potentially very handicapped in gear due to not using a casting focus. The stats given from weapons can amount to a LOT
This is also assuming that they exclusively cast with their hands and have no access to using a casting focus at all, which is a real possibility given how little we know about it

But casting with a focus also brings into question how their dual spell system would work with it, even being able to cast with both hands and combine spells

I got teamed up with a cheater in the official lfg channel the other day. He was making callouts across the map like "a team just fought (3-4 modules away) and they were trying to revive" with absolutely no way he couldve known otherwise, and calling out mimics before we even got to the chests. Every time he made a sketchy call out he would say "my buddy just messaged me, there's a team here doing this theyre heading this way." I just left but even that little bit of esp info he was feeding our team gave us an insanely huge advantage without even getting into the other stuff like aimbot. Esp most broken and they need something to stop that big time. Im sure thats what a lot of people are using for these perfectly timed 3rd and 4th parties. Although it still does happen naturally but that's insane. Please stop cheaters. There has to be some program that's better to combat cheaters than what they're using, and the big question is why aren't they using it by now?

i dont really get your argument. as is hardly anyone is playing it I dont see many driuds and if I do theyre running around in animal form trolling, or in HR you see people actually play it sometimes. everyone is always going to complain about rouge, its just the way it is. Added magical for pve, true magical for PvP, 75%+ cast speed, good move speed and some health

Also don’t neglect action speed, get decent dex so that you get spells out faster (action speed quickens the end of your spell where you push your hand out)

Playing druid really does feel like cheating almost, if you've got even mediocre movement and can do the rat-door jumps its easy to ditch out of a bad situation and come back to try again
