Aside from 2 bosses and reused map in current patch they added ice maps/wyvern boss and few enemies with very similar mechanics to existing ones - kobold (goblin), skeleton (skeleton), zombies but frozen, spider but jumps, spiffer but explodes, theres few new ones i agree. Since game first release they added like 4 weapons that noone uses. New crafts are just reskins with X enchant strapped to them. Where's that ton of content? Development is extremely slow.

Religion is click 2 buttons for free buff

But if i have to choose between just playing the game having PVP with full lobbies or getting empty lobbies because all those brackets. i would rather have that new system. U think peoples will go only white? i think thats the opposite. the game will become more skill expression, gear will not matter so people will bring any kind of stuff in raids. and gear will STILL have some edge on some pieces. rarities will still have rolls. rolls give STR/DEX/AGI/VIGOR/WILL/KNOWLEDGE/RESS

My whole trio began going only whites and didn’t loot a single thing. The difference in gear is the flat attribute increase that causes the largest impact. every fight is spacing/kiting, spam range, and cooldown management, all while trying not to get third partied
when fights happen between people that play efficiently its boring, you just run around equipping and unequipping your weapons and armor while running through doors and spam range and doors
there's no parries or feints or anything that set this game aside from fighting games that have mechanical depth like mordhau, its literally just spamming resources for 10 minutes until you're in a position that benefits you, and then the enemy disengages because its not beneficial to them.

why would anyone farm for bis kit when in your version of the game every piece of gear has their numbers crunched together? you think i want to wait 30 minutes to fight ghost king or lich to get a unique weapon that has -1 base damage than a piece of squire gear? you're not right in the head
if all gear has the same stats then why would i spend all my time and gold that i've gathered to get a piece of gear that has decent rolls to then die in 1 or 2 hits so people like you can feel like they're good at the game?

Yeah so I get 1-2 more hp than default in a legendary compared to white vigor piece. If your proposal of dmg all being the same then there’s really no impact of that 1-2 hp and it becomes pointless so I run squire gear

Just farm up troll for some pelts or spectral fabrics or hell bosses dude and you’ll have plenty of gold to run great kit’s every match. I don’t even play that much as I work full time and have irl stuffs, maybe 10 hours a week.

Not on my top 3 but yeah reducing the impact of range in the game is pretty high to. Imo they should drastically reduce the acces to ranged weapon to class other than ranger. Fighter and bard should only have hand crossbow (Fighter still have the weapon mastery perk but probably nerf it back to -10% power bonus and maybe add a perk for bard that allow him to use survival bow like the spear perk of ranger). Rogue should have only the hand crossbow but with a perk like it used to at some point (the perk can give him a bit more damage)

my thoughts on the HR 125-224, 225+ queue change (I am a ranger main with 1700 hours of play time): a great change IMO (I have a lot of fun) and here is why: a) it makes the HR game experience a bit more consistent in terms of gear gap. Before, queuing for HR was a dice roll if you are the most geared team/player in the lobby, so quite often, if your not mega geared, you get gear checked (skill issue, I know) . Now you have more agency by choosing to gear <225 or mega geared 225+. On top of that, juiced teams can still get their HR experience they know and love by queuing 225+ and sweaty (but not mega sweaty) teams can queue < 225 (a good change); b) if you can't afford a 10k+ kit every round, it's quite frustrating to queue HR when it was only 225+, since it feels like your throwing you quit away if your not mega geared. But now 125-224 makes HR more affordable to grind since the kits don't cost as much (increased accessibility, good); c) after a few games, I noticed the average player skill level is lower in 125-224 queues, making winning more frequent and winning is fun. I may represent the average player with this feeling, since I don't have 2 rich players to practice with everyday to grind HR trios all the time (IMO good, but its a skill issue on my part, so neutral), and now I can more frequently access affordable HR; d) more queues, so more dead lobbies (bad), but, it means fewer deaths given the infrequency of PVP (good, although in long term possibly bad, since I could see infrequent PVP getting boring).; and e) the excitement of winning a PVP encounter is way better than < 125 norms and a 125-224 queue gives moderately geared players a playground to queue up for. All in all, I am having a blast with this change. I get to fight HR mobs, the dungeon loot is better, I get to experience HR bossing, and I get some juicy gear from winning PVP without often getting 100% gear gapped by 150 HP mega geared wizard that's being pocketed by a cleric and bard

Since the devs attempted to modify how gear works, ere is a system I would love to see in the game:

• less gear rarities: 4 would do instead of 7
• every gear item (except basic squire) has an extra random modifier that is stronger based on rarity
• gear items above basic have a number of sockets for gems/enchantments, based on rarity, but can vary on same rarity (example: blues can have 1-2, legendaries 3-4)
• items can be broken down into components for crafting or for enchantments (gold sink & good recycle for items)
• you can loot gems and ancient scrolls that can be identified by alchemist/other npc, who uses them to upgrade your gear

Nice Profile pic great game there. And yah don't focus on bossing as a new player just do general runs and learn the mobs. If you were hitting the boss from outside the room that's why it wouldn't die they heal when reset to mid.

Unlock more base equipment from doing quests for favor.

How about letting people reroll random perks on items for gold?
For example you pay 200g per item grade (Green, blue etc) and you can roll all the random perks on the item again? That would of course get rid of the "Found By ..." to prevent people for using this for arena and giving actually looted gear some bigger value
But, i think that would accomplish bridging the gear gap, reducing the grind while still keeping it exciting to loot a good item? (No need to reroll if the rolls are already good + arena)
Also this would give some use for the gold

soo, sdf has said bunny hopping is and bug, which at this point makes it more of an unintended feature. what if instead of trying to adjust how the mechanic works which seems like it would be a difficult process that would probably piss a bunch of people off, why don't they just make it so if you take damage midair you take a little extra damage and are hit with a nasty slow like the better part of and achillies strike. that way its still a good skill to have but overusing it could get you punished. just a thought.

no that doesn't seem simple at all. the game doesn't know you're b-hopping. you're tricking the system by being on the ground so briefly that it doesn't have time to recognize factors that should change your speed. it would require manipulating how the game ticks perform their updates. im also just thinking how counter intuitive it is to jump in melee combat is. irl solid footing is critical for any sort of combat. if the game wanted to be super realist crouching should have you take slightly less damage. its a big part of why nearly every fighting stance involves bending your knees.

B-hopping needs to be removed, every character should have a chance to catch up with every other character with on-hit slow downs, and reduce movement from an action (spell casting, drawing arrow, ect.) what needs to be included is defensive options for squishy but fast characters. wizards needs spells that can buy them time or an overshield like effect haste/invis helps but its not enough from how easy they die. rogues should have a parry mechanic of some kind or make smoke bombs/calltrops as util to allow them to deal with melee combat more effectively that doesnt solely rely off of movement speed. ranger already has traps as a defensive option.

The studio has to be losing money month to month at the moment.

The way they get people to buy the game is buy making it enjoyable and then offering boons and cool features for paying for it, like Arena and High Roller, as well as Trading.
