every HR gc match I go and look for players can't find anyone until I look at troll. Corpses everywhere every match. This AP system sucks. Only PVP that happens now is in/outside of boss arenas since that's like the only way to get decent AP.

The upper part is probably cave-like with lots of bioluminescent moss and coral and shit, the underside has glowing fish you can kill to make it dark, idk

For sure, they need to hurry up just a touch on that if they're going to focus on making classes in line with these. Rogue, Ranger, Cleric and Bard are all thirsty for buffs compared to the others (well, bard maybe not so much, but a little bit more wouldn't hurt)

You can do wait it out, so if the cloak is at 0.8%, just wait , eventually the merchant refreshes and maybe has bis.

It's very easy to get capped ms in this game and it goes for all classes at least if you are willing to run without let's say armor. Also most classes has a move speed skill or perk. The problem atm is that everyyone pretty much run at the same speed and thus you can't escape when you are meant to be a class which can escape (like rogues, which was supposed to be the fastest class in game) but it's not.

True hehe i am not entirely sure how that works yet since i breefly just came back to check the game after a year break because i felt dark and darker was going rapidly downhill. Sad to see it's still the truth and thus i try to come with suggestions like, nerf the overall damage so fights would take longer but ironmace somehow wanted a different approach where they want survival rates to go down and people die to 3 hits or headshot like instant and takes away the fun. This is the main reason i think people leave not to mention their crap gear score where you can be at 150 gear score and meet someone at 400+ because they say there is not enough players to fill the dungeons and then i agure that it's better for someone at 150 gs to be alone rather than meeting someone at 400+ and they not agree. Unfortunaly.

I also play rogue, I don't hate the class at all, and bows for classes like ranger whom rely almost solely on ranged combat would be crippling if they did not have it, as a fellow rogue player we dont need endless throwing knives because we have incredible melee ability, just remember when you make a wide sweeping change that you wish you had, just think about how it'll get used against you, I personally dont want to get spam frannied, or essentially have every rogue I meet cosplay as dio with endless knives, I mean you get that people hate rogue, now imagine if all rogues did was run around a peppered you with knives and thats it, bows have immense counterplay and draw backs, It takes a weapon slot, the ammo is bulky taking 3 slots per 20 and cant be put into your hotbar to reduce size, every 6 or so arrows they have to "reload", you can hear them reload and draw the string, some changes I do think would be good is recoverable throwing knives.

Druid Bear build is To Broken right now, these Meta slaves needs to be Nerfed because 50 strength of bear. It is just way too strong and I think everyone in the community agrees you should not be able to just one shot people as a bear and be extremely tanky and require three people to kill you.

Fighter and warlock are in a good place I’m just tired of losing to teams in arena that have a 50 strength bear that’s getting 90% of all the kills and 1v3 my whole team no problem there should be like a cap on strength for bears. Sdf needs to realize there are a large group of players that want casual PvE dungeons added. I've heard many many stories of DaD players quitting the game because of the highly competitive nature of the game. Going into the dungeon, killing mobs, and getting out with loot is a fun experience for new and casual players. Getting bloodlusted by opposing players when you're a non aggressive gamer or a new player thats just learning the game is not fun at all. This will only lead to a dwindling player base that will find difficulty in acquiring new players.

This just confused me more. Most drinks have -20 move speed, which I thought was the equivalent of move speed penalty you have for holding weapons; as well as 75% action movement penalty, which I understood to be the equivalent of swinging a weapon.

Are you saying you only get slowed when drinking and the 20 movespeed penalty doesn't apply when holding a drink? If you're saying the action speed penalty only applies when drinking, then well, I already assumed that and it doesn't answer my question. youve probably heard people say that its important to learn attack patterns and it very much is true if not the most important part of the game dare i say. what i did is what @umbral zenith said. i watched his videos and closley paid attention to a specific type of enemy i was having issues with, then i would pay even closer attention in game about to fight that enemy and it worked so well

There is another way to play, but it’s arguably harder.
You can play a ranged class, I play wizard, I barely have to remember any ai patterns because I kill the ai before it reaches me. And if the pve is very tanky, I find a safe spot to cheese him.
But this takes knowing safe spots and is arguably slower then just knowing the patterns

you could maybe try instead of committing to kill, just bait and watch? walk up to the aggro goblin, then step back when your right in front and watch the different attacks they have. also keep in mind that in most cases you shouldnt walk backwards because of the movement penalty. or play fighter and grab a shield so you can atleast look at the enemy while blocking so you can SEE the attack to learn maybe

me personally if i need to learn a enemy but i also wanna fight the enemy while learning it will be harder to learn because my focus is now distracted by trying to go for the kill on this enemy instead of just chilling and taking my time. baiting the attack and stepping back and watching. idk i hope that makes sense

in my opinion its unfair that everyone has some form of self sustainability and a good one too (besides bard) that actually impacts EXCEPT rogue and wizard. barbarian has one of the best forms of it in the game if not the best and he can 2 shot you easily in squire. for example Blood exchange. your low on hp? pop the ability and go smak an goblin with your torch so you dont kill them and each swing heals you for 10%
