Here is my suggestion to help the problematic revive system that makes the lengthy process of reviving teammates under the duress of a timed match less of a problem: allow players to use soul hearts from enemy players to revive teamates. By bringing an enemy's soul heart to your team members corpse, you could activate the altar of sacrifice ressurection with no altar of sacrifice present. A 3v3 that results in deaths on both sides often does not feel like a win for either team because it is so hard to effectively revive your team afterwards.

I'm not sure how the affinity works for free accounts but you'd still have to do the quests again to get back to the ones you are currently working on

Quest progression lets your squire have more and eventually slightly better gear, as well as allowing the different merchants to craft better items like Copper, Cobalt, Rubysilver, and gold gear

yeah, learning when to play your combat songs is the biggest skill for bard specifically
Warlock is a lot better for learning since its fundamentals can transfer over to other casters but it still can engage with melee combat letting you learn stuff on both fronts

nah, I was literally dropping down to like 2 fps for a second the first time I hit a player in each match
same thing happens to me the first time I hit a mob, but that only happens in my first match and given its PvE I can deal with that just by baiting the swing
but its almost impossible to win my first trade every game since players don't have a 3 second recovery time after they swing

I do agree that fighter should not be better at range than ranger. Or even bard for that matter.

Warlock is overused as well.

My plan would be this

1. I would like if they looked into ranged damage scaling from dex just like Dungeons and Dragons does. That would make ranger initially more effective in range by default because they would fire faster because of action speed as well. Which is what you want, because it makes Ranger feel that much more competent and like they earn the right to be a Ranger. Ranger should in general be able to do more damage with bows unless drastically out gear scored.

(Though I haven't looked into the items and other sorts of things that could mess up.)

2. They could then change forest hood to be dex.

Which would help bring the player fantasy of a class like this to fruition.
What I mean is. If you like ranger, or rogue(classes with similar type of aesthetic and power fantasies) you want to be quick, and agile.

I also understand this could make ranger broken and would need balancing since I honestly hate playing broken classes. it feels unrewarding. So testing is of course required.

I think it's important to not that Ranger does require a lot of work in order to do that well. Having range is good but fighters can use longbow more effectively right now. So that would be tough.

100% squishy can have problems with cougar if they don't turn and fight it, it's squishier than the squishiest classes, bear is easy to kit for any class and all of the melee classes have ranged options to fight/harass it, and rat is also killed by anyone of those ranged options. If you are Barb save your thrown axes for rat and bear, if you are fighter backup and ranged bear or shoot rat.

Having hotspots on the map that players are incentivized to go to generates player interaction and pvp hotspots. Its all in an effort to push players into pvp.

That's a really good question. After the lich king dies, someone will always have to take the helm. May it be Arthas or Bolvar. Instead of using resources to "kill" him, I think more research needs to be done to convert him (e.g., therapy). Perhaps even find a way to co-exist.

Fighter currently is very strong with a strong self-heal and movement speed buff. Cleric is also strong with plenty of great spells, especially in team play. Druid is strong, though it has a rather high skill floor to learn to play it properly (and a gear tax associated with it).

I can’t lie the game atm is so boring cause it’s just full of druids and pdr fighters which you can’t beat unless you join them or unless you outplay them like mad but they both have insane comebacks by being able to dive through doors and have loads of hp + second wind

Warlock is easy to do lich cause you just circle round it and kill archers and hit boss then the others you just kite and deal damage mostly

dont PDR fighters melt if you use stuff like crystal sword or such? though those are more class specific and alot of the classes that can use crystal sword (besides fighter) are kinda weak.

You could but I ran a kit like it worth like 10k and I had 50% pdr and cause it was mostly will I had 30% mdr and 50% mdb too and I tested the damage and it was 40 physical and 50 magical so to beat it you’d have to have high pdr mdr health and damage

Ye try it with torture mastery by circling round and using hell fire on normal till you get used to it but when you do high roller you want to make sure archers are dead before lich does the storm circle cause they can hit you while moving but watch a video about it all it’s quite easy

i do still believe most of the dislike for druid does come from either severe ignorance for the matchup, or primarily that the way to deal with the matchup is kinda boring for the non-druid player. I did play druid myself, and i have no idea what im doing with it.

i do hope that they pull off the thing they said about giving classes a way to limit the mobility instead of completely just nerfing druids mobility. or just giving similar mobility options to the other classes and suddenly this game becomes a movement shooter

We are so back. Hello. I ran into this problem for the past days after most recent patch. THe answer is:

servers are on fire for you. But just now, when I opened steam, it updated a few megabytes of content, and i was able to get in today. I'm saying, after you tried everything, (verify files, flush dns, restart, run as admin etc) you must wait few days after the update. keep checking it for a week. if you get the short update, you may be able to log in.
