Warlock like a third of the spells are unusable and what was the point of dark pack? was garbage from release. the bard skills are also unusable. Ive never seen a rogue use caltrops. its pretty disappointing that nothing has been attempted to try adjust other character skills except for the ones in the meta.

weapon mas, swift, sword mastery, maybe defense mastery last for crystal sword, run things like visored barbuta helm (the will one), frostlight crystal sword for extra movespeed if u can afford, fine cuirass pieces with max health and magic stats, cloak of darkness/splendid cloak, just build your will up as much as u can really., try to end up around 130-140 health range, 30 will range, prob go survival bow second but not sure tbh

^ also obviously work with your limits, or set budgets, but you prob want a good frost amulet with health/magic power, ring of resolves with true, you stack up your will/magic power along with some true phys - maybe some pen, usually you'd like to be around 300-305 move speed, i think it can be any sword

In Lorrs vid he had 145 health or so, he had like 20 strength/vig, near 25 agi (he used gravewolf gloves and stacked some agi, and 30 will. Lorr is great for these types of builds because he does a whole section of the video on building it and prices, he also suggests way to save money, like getting a cloak with 2 phys power for 100 gold cheaper rather than strength even though 1 strength is like 2 phys power, he includes helpful tips like that while building, and he'll be honest when things are way too expensive

That is short-sighted. Some things are good for the game, like jumping for momentum, that is skill ceiling. The exit thing is nonsense. It's not aesthetically pleasing in any way so they should definitely change it since it will affect everyone equally and positively. The game mechanics are super pleasing to play with and it makes victory that much more enjoyable, so things like that are fine ofc.

Someone just said longsword is trash and not worth using. I think its a cool mechanic and its easy to beat players that are overly reliant on parry, since you can easily hit around it. It's no problem for anyone, no one is talkign about longsword at all thats just silly. Shield is better imo.

Look. To fix druid, just add a timer for each animal transformation. 3 seconds (chicken, rat), 4 seconds (panthar), 5 seconds (bear). Then they can buff spells, more spells and they can keep instant transformation.

Longsword has such an egregious issue of the worst hit-slow of any twohanded weapon.
Compounded by the second swing has shorter range than the first.
This means you will almost never hit someone with the second hit if they are full running. In a kiting meta this is absolute dogsh
The first swing is a slow stab. Enough said.

Parry damage is too high. But you need to fix these other issues to some extent. Even just the slow would be enough.

That's a good idea but parry payoff has to be high because otherwise it's absolute trash.

• Ranger's Companion - would work simulary to the summon treant spell, would summon a wolf companion to fight at your side temporarily (Or even with limited uses, like field rations)

doesnt work vs good druid. You dont know what you are talking about. A decent bar will hit and turn around. then there is no hitting him if you not really close.
if you are close enough to hit him. He will 2 hit you. Any half geared druid Bar 2 hits every class

The problem is high level gameplay. You will not outdammage a top 20% player playing druid. And thats the problem. It doesnt matter how skilled you are. How geared you are. You are not beating a decent Druid with Decent kit

Druid isnt a problem in "lower" skill levels. Its about the top 5-10% im talking about. I had a KDA of 15 on my fighter. Druid is out and now its 5.

its just not that hard to check a bear as a barbarian, especially since they can just out unga bunga any non barb class

bears are used to just out smashing their opps at close range, barb and a reasonably solid sheild fighter are probably the only things that can beat a bear with relatively low amounts of work if they are just running at you as a bear

For balancing numbers, I think IronMace actually has objective data they use. It's more a data science problem and not so much a subjective feeling. They should be able to see how successful each Player is on average with specific weapons

Dno how the matching system works nowadays, but i play trio HR frost caverns almost all the time with a pretty mediocre kit (like, just decent basic blue/green kit) I guess around 300 gear score? But whenever we decide to actually go FAT, i'm talking like 400-500 gear score we suddenly end up against people that are similarly or even better geared, while in my 300 gear score kit i'm always up against other mid kits like me lol.

Fighter by default has more phy dmg than ranger and when the weapon mastery used to lower dmg fighters still ran bows and did perfectly fine

The most likely reason they are removing B-Hopping , is cause B-hopping isnt intended in this game.
Somehow B-Hop is FPS based on this game. Dont believe me? Try it out, go in game, cap your FPS to 45, and you wont be able to B-Hop.
So its not something they can have in their game, if it means you need a better quality PC in order to use it.
Since they dont even know how the B-hopping came to exist, they rather remove it before having people its FPS related and complain about it.
Eliminate future problems instead of solving them.

So baseline it's an exploit, however, for example in CS, it bread an entirely new game because certain people enjoyed it. Of course the way bhop works in DAD is entirely different, so you can't expect something of that nature. But, it does bring to light more technical gameplay and adds another layer to the combat. I'm only going in when I know the kill is mine because wizards are super squishy compared to the fast and highly mobile fighter. That is to say, I'm not going into a situation blindly; I'll soften the wizard up real good with arrows and force him into a bad situation before going in for the kill while making sure he can't kill me fast enough because he has to get through my speed, my second wind and my likely incoming 1-tap because he can't heal as well as I do. You say this like wizards aren't fast and mobile. 320 move speed before haste is a tough catch. Kiting is our specialty. Not only that, but im doing damage the whole time your trying to get close. less and less and less, oh, theres second wind, but my dps goes much faster than second wind.

if we try to balance all classes after the most buffed and broken one that's fighter where you can blindfold me i buy randomly a weapon from marketplace and i make a broken fighter build with it, then we wont reach anywhere.

fighter is the most middle of the road class. Your not doing anything with "some random weapon" only way to make fighter OP is to build specifically for certain things. You display intimate lack of understanding for the game far too often

spawned in hr ruins, top right map got rushed in less than 3 seconds by a team, we killed them but lost one of our allies, put a campfire a rogue alone came in killed one guy sitting by the campfire and started perma looting/hand crossbow while our teamate can do nothing because if he come close he just run away and he cannot loot all our bodies

I am not kidding, i play a lot of HR but this is the craziest thing yet i know everyone is giga cringe jumping over every wall but here we got rushed in less then 30 seconds no kidding in our room by a team, wiped them and didnt have time to put campfire another team was here ? i dont know but i felt like the rogue were cheaters the way the guy was alone with a teamate disconnected and one lost on the map, all weird names and just so weird the double spawn rush is crazy

Anyone having the same ? i know ruins is so bad and deserve an insane rework because of wall but this ???

Your first message with all the weapons - Of course there are many builds for fighter, that's the point of the class, it's a do it all kind of class, a middleman, but your not picking up a random weapon as you suggested and just wiping lobbies. You gotta have a full gear setup with specific things to be strong in the build.
