Tarkov went PVE mode and L4NDMARK is killing max 2-3 players per game, cheaters is the major issue, and is not that hardcore anymore, rate of fire + good bullets drops everyone so fast now, sadly it was really good 4 years ago, for sure PVE in this game is ez af, but ppl still having issues with spiders lol

So let me get this straight. The classes that prefer and utilize ranged weapons, should not move away when you are pushing and also, enganged in melee, where they are the weakest due to low hp, and weapon damage. Man this guy is cooking

I get what your trying to say and I’m not saying it’s easy but there are thing to look for to understand damage. Just because the information is vague doesn’t mean it’s not there. Slowly understanding this vague info will help you will more fights. This is very important from understanding how all classes work, ability cooldowns and how much a spell might do to an iron will barb compared to a plate fighter. Don’t get me wrong nothing about this is easy. It’s a lot of hours you need to understand sound ques to damage sounds

kiting and spacing is always going to exist in this game, however its currently too oppressive and affecting the enjoyment and general engagement of pvp situations
there is also no hard fix for this without making major changes that will also massively impact other aspects of the game, and potentially in ways that are worse
the only thing that i can think of to mitigate the current move speed and kiting meta is to add a delay for removing clothes and increase the time it takes to close doors

The base damage of curse ticks in unfavorable especially with how easy it is to stack magical healing and damage on warlock it's practically drowning in the capacity to accrue it.
Most of Warlocks issues can be stemmed to keeping those bases low if their gear is gonna give them so much of their oppressive advantages.

Try every class and get them to like 15 if you like it to unlock all the perk slots. If a piece of gear doesn't say something like "more damage" or "actual stat up" it's probably not worth hoarding. More move speed on boots is good too

There isnt a counter to a warlock that is quicker than you and has phantomize. they dont miss spells because of hitscan. so you gotta just dive em and bob and weave their spell casts and melee. Cutthroat helps a lot.

The only problem with that perk is that it is too good to not take it in every single game. There are many passive and active perks like this, for example second wind and sprint are basically only active perks fighters have. Quickchant for wizard, perk on bard that lets you make mistakes while playing, robust on barb and etc. I think this can be easily fixed by buffing things that NOONE uses now because they are too damn weak.

I'm not sure I'd say its the hardest class in the game; I think casters take the cake on that one (probably Wizard, although Squire Druid is absolute ass), but it takes some getting used to since your spells require skillchecks

Honestly, Ranger is kinda hard too since whether or not your class sucks purely depends on if you can hit shots or not, and juking bow shots is insanely easy in this game
