For those still having issues with error 21. An fix that has worked for a friend of mine is going into your local/dungeoncrawler/saved/configs/windows folder and deleting your GameUserSettings.ini.

For whatever reason his .ini was a complete mess. trying to launch the game from it caused the crash. Might not work for everyone but worth the attempt.

yes you can not escape from either if the barb is wearing no armor he has max movespeed, he can achilles you, and then you are dead unless you phantomize. a fighter can fight you at range with bow (he wins), or he can fight up close with sprint to chase you (he wins), all you can do is use flamewalk to stop them from pushing you as a warlock, otherwise you are screwed against them

Any bow works probably.

Survival does the least damage but shoots fast and lets you move fairly fast; it also has poor velocity without holding the bow drawn for a couple seconds, but if you can land repeated shots it'll hurt.

Recurve is a good middle ground and you can't really go wrong with it.

Longbow draws slow and slows you to a crawl, but the arrow is so fast its basically hitscan

That's a well-geared Warlock. Again, sounds like a big skill issue on your part. You're barbarian with THE BIGGEST HEALTH POOL in the game, and you can't close the gap between you and the warlock? That's a massive skill issue, because that warlock dies in 1-2 swings from your axe if you can land it.

Try turning off medal and updating your gpu drivers (Use DDU to remove all traces of drivers, assuming you know how to boot into safe mode). You could also look into debloating windows for another performance boost.

yeah, that happens especially if you dont have a hybrid or full panther build. with barbs you wanna just kite their abilities, try to transform into bear as they are chasing when it runs out, if they stow their weapon and run away, you switch to panther get like 1-2 hits and back up and do it all over again

Two handed weapon were quite fast historically, its much more sluggish to wield a one handed sword than a two handed and specially a shield( not that im saying historical accuracy means good gameplay but its definitely not something you can be mad about knowing that longsword have the worst stats overall in the entire game)
