I already know who it was intended for. The game isn't hard, the issue is an inflationary economic issue of massive prices on items that turn everything into rock paper scissors of gear rather than skill. The broader issue is about fixating a game too heavily on gear. You run models of different subsets of gear through a program, simulate your results and make each AI have the same knowledge base. You look for anomalies where a statistical chance of maybe 20% or 30% of the time, the less gear wins under that subset of gear calculations and then you found a sweet spot. You found where gear has a 20% advantage, not a 99.99% advantage. This is basic stuff at a developer level. I mean it's wild to me that nobody sees the broader issue. Developers aren't running these model and calculations and the inflationary economy calls for shorter wipe periods.

Does anyone else think they should take a WOW approach for quest items where the mob only drops it when you have a quest for it. It solves stacking items in stash waiting for a quest and you can up the drop rates from awful to ok. I've killed over 50 wendigos and only seen 1 hoof.

The perk Torture mastery only heals from the damage instance of a curse. I wish the wording was more specific but the only curses that you heal from are curse of pain and power of sacrifice.
curse of weakness doesnt deal dmg. None of the other spells will deal damage that heals you, onmly those 2. Life drain heals you but doesnt get any benefit from torture mastery and doesnt scale off magical healing either, only the perk vampirism.

Between keeping the 225 gs for HR and doing away with 124s it’s basically play normals in whites or play BIS. This new supposed GS matching system is ridiculous. It doesn’t work. The difference between 200gs and 300gs is huge. Same for 300 and 400. And so on and so forth. So unless you’re in BIS epics and legendaries, odds are someone in the lobby is going to have a 100 or so gs on you.

105% movement speed also needs to be cap. Anything beyond this point is boring and silly and makes dodging mobs and other players attacks way too easy.

Lowering the Ms speed to 105 would make a lot of spells and abilities redundent... i dont think thats the right approach. ive maily played 124 and had more fun than i ever have with HR bis kits in the previous seasons.
You are able to play your class, for example Wizzard with the spells you want. without being super strong.

Yeah I could see caps for certain classes. But melee always needs to have an advantage over range while weapon is drawn. You can’t let range have free rein or hackers will just create aimbot and game will be dead’s maybe 103% fighter barbarian to 105% with spring and rage: ranger no weapons 105% . Rogue 104% up to 105% with ambush, bard 104%. Warlock 102% 105% with phase. Mage 104% Druid 105% in rat 103% normal. Standardize movements and remove boots +movement and Change the stat to reduce slows and or decrease weapon slow while attacking. Immune to fire traps and or your movement is more silent. Like get away from movement completely and make each pair of boots have a unique feel and ability

Barbarian is fucking op now imo! People were crying but a 53 damage battle axe with -30 movement speed is insane. You can dodge every attack on you with ease now. And do more damage than a pole arm. Felling axe had no change except it’s now -30 over -35. You literally are moving at almost rogue speed even more now. So rogue barbarian is even more scary. The gimp to axe specialization is not even noticeable but I stopped using it a long time ago over chugger and heal on player kills. With crush and bonus max health. If you are ranger, you require a perk to be active to run spear, if you have that perk then squire will show you spear

the thing is that you seem to want it to only take 36 tries of 1K ap runs, but the whole goal of the game is to have other people in the lobby with you, and the more reward you can get in a match, the more the difficulty should be, it's good that you die while you try to passively make ap, it's not a PVE game, its a PVPve, enviroment comes last.
why would we have a leaderboard for AP if anyone could farm it safely? why would we have a multi player game, if you just want to get the rank alone and not fight a player?
why would we have gear with true phys if you only fight mobs? you see what i mean there?

The shadow on the floor isn't reliable, also I still take damage from time to time from splash damage of the rocks, sometimes there is no shadow yet i get hit by a rock and I do not want to be looking at me feet during a boss fight. I'm looking for a way to reliably dodge the rocks like how it was before, with an audio queue or something. Been trying for a couple hours no, so far nothing consistent.

The audio is still there. Usually I do the same thing. All they added was the shadow of the rocks. They didn’t change anything else.

The audio queue no longer works, the rocks a way waaaay delayed. I need a new queue for when i need to jump.

i did cyclops a few times yesterday and found that you didn't have to jump anymore... just avoid the shadow

Dude the game is suppose to be strategically played. Having a hard hitter is suppose to be a thing you play range on a cleric that has a mace. You can do a lot of things to counter different classes. The only one that is hard to counter rn is wizard. But then again that is in trios mostly. Solos he will eventually run out of spells and there for easy kill. But in trios you can’t push because of his team

Yes but the range the have and the ability of recharging all spells in 10 seconds is hard to counter if all you have is one bow. You can’t push a wizard that is a room across from you even if you have a bow

I’ve put 140 levels into wiz this wipe so far, you hit the nail right on the head. Wiz feels so good in teams rn because his increased spell damage is harder to punish, but he still has the same problems he’s always had in solos. Especially in sub 25 where even with buffed spell damage you still aren’t hitting very hard

Most of the time you can straight up push a wizard. You have to catch them off guard. And even if you do most of the time they have a cleric or a warlock to back him up

How about you see it my way..., the company create THE game THEY want, with THEIR money. On top of that you want Ironmace to listen to you, but you don't want them to listen to Sweats/Tryhards.
They want this game to be accesable to every type of players, that's the reason why they made quest take a week before you get the others, so everyone, even casuals can do their quest and not be too far behind from all the sweats. Reason why they created The Hall of Knight discord, to help newer/casual players in their runs. Reason why they created brakets to not put Squire kits VS named items/legendary...
