No, pve only is super boring in this, it's only fun because of the pvp. Anyone with a little bit of experience can survive pretty much 100 percent of the pve without pvp to keep up the threat. If they had a pve only mode, you would just play it for a bit then realize how boring it is and quit. If they want a good pve mode, it requires a ton of dev time which I'd rather they not waste because the game is successful as pvp focused and proven to work

I can't defend this any more, this section, in context with the history of the patches, is totally idiotic:

*Barbarian's Axe Specialization weapon damage bonus changed from 5 → 3.

Bardiche's weapon damage has been significantly reduced.

Bardiche's movement speed penalty changed from -40 → -45.

Battle Axe’s weapon damage has been slightly reduced.

Battle Axe’s movement speed penalty changed from -35 → -30.

Double Axe’s weapon damage has been slightly reduced.

Felling Axe’s movement speed penalty changed from -35 → -30.

Halberd's weapon damage has been significantly reduced.

Halberd's movement speed penalty changed from -40 → -45.

War Maul's weapon damage has been very slightly increased.

You don't overnerf stuff and then suddenly also buff the only thing that wasn't nerfed. It simply shifts meta from left to right all the fucking time. Likewise, you don't significantly reduce Halberd's damage and also it is speed at the same patch. You are then actually clueless of which of the 2 variables overnerfed it or overbuffed it in any case and then you repeat yourself 3 and 4 times with back and forths in the span of 6 months, just like Ironmace has been doing.

oh i can explain this to you. aggro in the game works just like an mmo. when you aggro any mob you build threat based on times hit and dps it seems both matter. mobs always attack the nearest enemy player or focus whoever has the most threat built on them. if a mob has no threat built by any player it will chase the nearest player. the mobs seem to scan their environment every 5-15 seconds and change their behavior based on what is occuring. if nobody is near them to aggro they try to return to their original location. if they sense a player they remain aggro'd on them. so thats why sometimes a mob will change targets because the other player built no threat and you are closer so its simply readjusting itself. this is also why you can be right next to a mob and it will ignore you because it has so much threat built it will perma focus the other player until you start attack it, even if they close a door on it you can safely open the door because the mob still senses the player that built threat. ive replicated this countless times and if youve ever played any mmo for a long period of time you can adjust it for this game

More respectable, my problem with rogue is that it has tons of dps and is gigafast and can always just disengage and annoys you. Barb for example also is fast and has dps but atleast barb either has to commit or die, but that whole "hehe I stab and then run and you chase me for the whole game" is annoying af and is one of the main reasons I play cleric with bind and judgement to just bind and then break the rogues legs lol.

Rogue should be invisible "Permanent" Classe until they 1st sucefull attack you or interact it an item. Should hade some cooldown to get back invisible. Like Rogues in WOW, they are always hide. And makes a lots of sense devs, cause rogue had little damage againts some classes.

i've manged these types of teams for over a decade.. i can promise you, this is elementary dev ops cycle issues.. doesn't matter the current state of game.. Na dude I’ve played barbarian since day one and this is not a nerf! Being able to move while swinging any weapon in this game and not suffer the penalty of movement negativity is by far a bigger buff over damage. Which is why most people use very light weight weapons with longest range and kill more often. Range+movement is superior to damage. Which is why high movement weapons with bad attack patterns that hit like a truck are not being used. Also they didn’t nerf any of the one handed axes! And the current best build is full geared duel axes with chugger and heal mechanics. You can 1v3 and not lose 100% health. This is not a nerf. Bardiche needed a damage nerf for sure but as a class with zero range and achiellies being a shell of what it used to be, barb being slow simply means you'll never have the opportunity to catch your target

I can almost guarantee you're going to see a significant increase in Rage barbarians in low gear to compensate for MS loss and savage + reckless in high gear, with ranged teammates using barbarian as a wall

Barbarian isn't the tankiest though, he gains HP easier than others but a 180 HP 65% PDR fighter is much more robust, and has stronger sustain and disengagement options.

I'd be fine with slow and strong, but the game isn't built like that anymore. Cleric used to be the "slow but deadly" class, however with the global MS changes, they go toe-to-toe with other melee classes as if they were a paladin.

Druids are meant to be as movement based as they are. Stats wise, they lose to most good classes (depending on what build path, classes may differ.) Druid isn't very strong compared to the other classes in a round-a-bout way. They're made for burst and resetting, pretty much zero sustain.

If you made animal form have a CD (it does, a perk is needed to make it seemless) then all the tech is gone for the druid's movement. Trust me when I say this, Druid will be utterly useless with an CD on shapeshift. Worse healer than cleric, less damage than rouge, less armor than fighter, less hp than barb, zero range, and one spell that does damage.... we need shapeshift to be seemless.

I don't agree with the fighter barb, in my experience this wipe, it's more common for the fighter to pop sprint and then run to range down. Barbarian has been in meta bc the skill floor is low. Barbs actual role within metas has shifted dramatically (buff ball to now for example)

yes, bear CAN two tap (sometimes one tap) but youve gotta make a big mistake to let that happen. If bear is doing that amount of damage, theyre full bear and u can just kite. Only way they can jump on you is with a Panther dash _> chicken jump -> bear combo (can only be done every 15 secs.) They miss and ur home free

I can understand how this sounds like a solution. But in reality, the only reason people are upset with form swapping is because we can scurry away. Rat is easily dealt with with 25g, or any aoe. (i use drum to kill them when im broke)

No it’s not a nerf it’s a huge buff everyone doesn’t know what’s important in this game. Movement speed is the meta and little damage debuff for +5 movement is insane.

It doesn’t work! It never has! Which is why they did caps. But removing caps has tarnished the game. All the people who have high GS have been crying because they can’t find enough people to play with. So they’re trying it again! But it still will launch you into a random lobby with a high gs player so they can get their fix. Most devs always cater to the hardcore community not realizing hardcore communities kill games. It’s the same with economics. Yet everyone listens to the top 1% and then games die and countries fail. A strong mid range deck wins in every tournament of magic the gathering and is the best way to keep a video game alive. You have to keep your middle of the road players happy. They will always come back. Hardcore players cry and then binge and then quit when they don’t get what they want. You don’t want addiction based gaming. It’s what’s killing LoL! They went for pure instant gratification and the game is boring as hell. Which is why they are frantic for new game modes.
