As word has it, the Sorc with have reworked unarmed coding so the devs can use that as the groundwork for fancier stuff. So the Sorc comes first, lets you do fancy spells from unarmed, and then they release Monk with Fancy unarmed abilities but you get punched instead.

We tried skill based matchmaking in the past and it wasn't better at all. We have gear matchmaking for a reason. The best would probably be a mix of both but with the actual matchmaking system we probably don't have enough player for that. With skill based the game ironically become gear based too. Instruments sell pretty nice for norms especially to merchants. If you start to learn what random rolls are good for each class you can know what to focus but damage or movespeed are usually solid for traders. If you want to loot goods look for treasure but filling your inventory with greens and just leaving is not bad money for starting out at all

to answer your second question, it depends on the quest. I had a quest to kill a boss yesterday, and I got help from my friend to do it.

meanwhile the first armorer quest (get 5 cobalt) is much easier solo, as you don't have to fight for sharing the ore, and there are less people to kill you after youve aquired it.

You should aim for as high as you possibly can for the most part, but 315 is pretty ideal. You'll probably need to learn a lot about gearing to understand how to gear for movespeed without giving up other things that you need, and a few channels on Youtube do a good job of showing their buying process, which helps a lot while trying to learn these things. To answer your question directly, though, "100%" is 300 MS.

it's more situational though, if you don't need the hydra and you just want to heal, curses are very slow now due to cost, so almost not worth it unless it's an active fight and placing a hydra will help you

if you run both curses, then it makes more sense, but with just curse of pain, you get pretty much no healing from hydra

Depends, if they are decent for a -124 kit use them otherwise id say sell them. If you're still quite new I'd say stay below 25 gs and get a feel for mobs and pvp without the risk of losing kits. There is certain stats that are more valuable and can grab a good coin on the marketplace popular weapons with additional weapon dmg, true dmg, additonal movespeed on boots are just some examples. There was a really good guide on gear and what to look for in terms of stats.

Don't ask me, I didn't request buffs for class I am playing, it's a nice but not expected change. I don't see it as oppressive cause longbow is tedious to use, you are immobile and prone to damage from any fast melee class (barbarian or rogue) so you need a frontline but fighter is already frontline. Against ranger it's a tie and against wizard and warlocks depends if you are full plate or cloth build. Full plate will most likely lose to wizard and warlock. For cloth build survival bow is better option anyways.

Even recurve is meh for fighter if you don't have any kind of frontliner, usefull for PvE but not for PvP without perks from Ranger

Breaking doors should be base kit on slashing and bludgeoning weapons, Crush should make it easier. Crush should make it so the stagger on parry and blocks is longer, so you don't just punish yourself. @hazy violet Crush increases the impact, so with higher impact, the fighter has a larger parry window. To better explain it, when your weapon is hit by low impact (dagger, fists, rapier) you can't even parry. If you're hit by an extremely heavy weapon, you'll get a long stagger animation and have much longer to parry, but you can activate the parry counter attack at ANY time, so it's JUST a boon for you to get hit by bigger weapons.

Because of it's land mine and agi abuse meta. It's also heavily countered by range. It's just strong in melee.

I don't think the classes are balanced. Fighter is just better ranger in most scenarios, while Ranged dominates overall. Cleric not having range makes a lot of fights in solos impossible, and if your team does not peel you in team matches, you can't really defend yourself against a variety of threats. I don't think Fighter should be able to hit just as hard as a Ranger and then wear heavy armor while moving as fast as it does. It just out trades the ranged class that has the entire point of being RANGED with a little bit of melee.

Fighter can't place traps, cleric doesn't need to take those fights or can simply bait them into making a mistake (and even if you don't agree it's 1 class out of the bunch in one gamemode, solos)
And ranger can make their bow stronger through their abilities, I don't think fighters have any KB or ways to buff their bows. (and if range is as dominant as you say, which it is I'm not denying it, then buffing the best range option for non-magi casters is probably pretty good)

Anyone have some tips on how to defeat the Cyclops as a Fighter? My main problem is when he does the 'stomp' I think and I get the slow debuff. Then while I am slowed I get nailed by one of his other attacks. I can usually avoid all other attacks it is just the slow debuff that messes me up. Does the fighters skill that removes slows help in that situation?

Hit twice and back away, the slow shouldn't negatively effect you since you can just move right or jump to dodge the attacks in norms.

There is no way in hell team people who team should not get in trouble cause why for 3 games back to back are people feeling more inclined to team with other players against me because i know how to do boss
