Zwei is also useless in 50% of all situations, like in doorways, narrow halls, when you have melee team mates ot when someone just decides to jump around and take the hits in their arms/legs. Making reliable precise headshots is almost impossible. If the enemy is faster, they can just stand infront of you upclose, like a rogue, and you hit with the weak part of the blade and only arms

if you plan on fighting a barb as a ranger, you need to make sure you have a path cleared and an area where you can kite around without being cornered by the barb, and you also have to remember too that you dont win every fight, some encounters you just need to avoid, if you have a decked out barb in your lobby, you should be doing everything you can to avoid him

So kiting between floors. Keeping distance. Setting traps. Getting him caught in a trap. Using mobs as cover aren't things I'm supposed to do? I had movement speed and the right gear. He didn't back me into a corner. He WALKED behind me and PUNCHED me to death WHILE WALKING. So I just have to ALWAYS have boat loads of movement speed for that? Am I supposed to turn and poke him with my spear so he can pull his purple felling axe out and one shot me? This barb also killed me with 5 punches. Thats about 20 damage a punch. I fail to see what is correct about this situation. I can't avoid someone who can walk behind me and punch me. I knew he was geared from pre lobby. I did not want to fight him.

the felling doesn't trigger a parry unless it's actually parried... you are the one who brought up parrying, I just said the double axe and maybe zwei needs a base attack speed buff, like 5% maybe

movespeed is king, it is hands down the best stat in the game, should be a part of every build you do, cant get hit if no one can catch you, and if he has fists out and is punching you, you pull that weapon out and start attacking, if he goes to pull his weapon out, you should have plenty of time to make space before he can swing

Demon Form should lose 2% HP per sec, and deal that same health lost as Fire Aura

Demon form should only be able to be turned off if you kill a player/mob, it makes it much higher risk/reward. (or at least planning)

you can reduce the move speed penalty of a lot of actions by timing a jump right before you do something, like jump then switch weapon, you'll keep your movement speed from the jump and wont be affected by the slow for as long

There is a lift in the four rooms area that a team can use once, then there are two boat rooms that spawn rafts you can float away on together on the first level, then in the abyss there is a portal at the top middle, and bottom middle. There is also a lobby wide exit if you kill the Wyvern.

barb with no gear struggles to get into people, ur best bet is to run achilles strike and use a throwing axe to apply it to them , if u miss ur ax ur fucked until its back up

My honest advice is to play what you enjoy. Sure there are tierlists of characters but unless you’re pushing leaderboard it doesn’t really matter. Enjoy the game your own way and the more you play the more you’ll learn how to play around your weaknesses

Bards armor reduction DOES work on monsters and in fact brings their armor values into the negatives, which causes a substantial damage increase. This works but not armor penetration because bard applies a flat negative value and armor penetration applies multiplicatively. (Multiplying anything by 0 results in 0...)

once you get comfortable with the normal lobbies and start stringing together successful extracts will you accumulate a lot of back-up gear which you can hold in your stash. Hold on to anything with knowledge or +memory capacity. There is a lot of cheap green knowledge gear on the market place so always check there for cheap gear in between lobbies when you have a bit of gold. You only need to hit around 15-17 knowledge to run pvp viable builds on a lock

Sorry for late reply. Rogue's weakpoint reduces armor rating multiplicatively and monsters have a monster rating of zero. However weakpoint is interesting in that rogue's weakpoint actually ISN'T the same as armor penetration. Armor penetration despite having the word "Armor" in the name doesn't directly affect armor. Its a multiplier applied to the target's PDR (armor is only one factor which increases a player's PDR.) On the other hand, weak point applies directly to armor rating value itself, not PDR. The end effect is that if you have both weakpoint and armor penetration the weakpoint applies first, reducing the target's armor rating. Then the PDR value granted from armor rating is calculated, then armor penetration reduces that PDR value multiplicatively.

What this means is that since the armor rating is being reduced first, with the way armor rating scales, significantly reducing your target's armor via weakpoint before applying armor penetration you basically turn an armor stacking plate tank into paper. Let me know if you have any more questions, or if anyone else has any questions on calculations in this game I can try to help.

Keep a molly for rat if you are losing to druids that much. Cat has a large head hitbox and a larger hitbox in general. Aim for the face. If you can run crossbow/range secondary and open the fight with a bolt/arrow if they go bear/cat. Kite the add, burst it if you must.

I main fighter, as a pure class v class matchup I lose hard against warlocks. So I switched one of my perks to weapon mastery and I now run a bow. I beat warlocks at range and I beat them at cqc with my shield. Warlock healing meta is boring asf. rogue or fighter are good entry points for troll boss - quick tips: move speed is king so if you have cloths on that are slowing you down, take them off before the fight starts. Warlock wont teach you mechanics. At first, aim to go 1 for one with his attack and your attack, learn his patterns, and be patient, you're going to die a lot, it takes time to learn it. It's all about spacing, stay close to him to try and avoid him screaming.

i know why they did it but it was a HUGE extremity they should have capped it at blue gear AND had the 25 and under bracket since you very rarely find purple tier equipment in normals anyways. Doing it the way they did just makes common(white)-rare(blue and honestly maybe even epic/purple) gear 100% useless because if you dont have 300+ you are going to get absolutely rolled if you bring any of it in and just makes the game that much less fun, you might as well just remove any equipment other than grey, purple and orange because its more disadvantage than advantage to use it. As to your "why dont you only use grey gear then" you answered that in your own response its kinda BS that you can find this gear but if you equip it you are instantly at an incredible disadvantage so its too the point that you cant use it

Everything about Demon form got nerfed, torture mastery got nerfed, life drain got nerfed (still at 75% so better than old 50%)
They changed how shards work, they stack to 5 and each stack is worth double than it used to be. Technical buff since stacks are now easier to get, but doesnt improve fighting capability besides the first attack that uses the shards.
and warlock shield thing that literally nobody uses got buffed.... and I still havent seen it

if you lose 3% hp a second you can sit in warlock for 30 seconds without any aid, if you aren't sustaining your hp that's a you issue, you could leave demon form for a bit if you really need, have you considered that they don't want you in demon form a whole extended fight?

also using claiming its too much dmg because you have a lot of hp is kinda meaningless, the whole point of it being % and not a number is so that no matter how much hp you have it hits you the same percentage of your hp, obviously if you have more hp its going to do more dmg.

also also I could be wrong on this but im pretty sure sitting in a fart does more than 5.4 hp a second, since it hits multiple times a second, I sat in one earlier opening a portal and lost half my hp to it in about 4-7 seconds as a 120 hp fighter, so like 6-10 dps maybe? but I think since it's magic damage the experience will always vary

it is permanant if you can sustain 3% of your max hp per second while in demon form, but demon form buffs you too hard to be a permanant form as it is now, they either gotta nerf warlock or demon form if that's what they wanted to do. I say it's getting closer and closer to an at least stable place where you could definitely build into mag healing enough as a solo to remain in demon form for a decently long time (subjective). but I'd say your better off putting those stats elsewhere and dealing with the half minute on half minute off vibe, maybe extend it a bit if you want.

Not really? If you get reported for cheating it doesn't flag your character, it flags your whole account and every character associated with it. The character name effects nothing and the minor problem of not seeing player names could be easily fixed with a post match menu similar to Hunt Showdown that just tells you their username

So I had an idea for the devs to consider (far) down the road, once the game is finished.

A game mode that would have a single dungeon with many floors, where you and your party would push deeper down until you eventually run out of luck, and die. Each floor would be slightly more difficult, or would increase in difficulty every 5 levels. Your ranking will be decided by who can get to the lowest level, kill the most monsters, and get the best loot.

They don’t have one. They build ms and run away over and over and over again and full heal in 4 seconds with life drain. They shouldn’t be in the game.

both are in the abyss, which is caverns version of inferno. you get there by jumping down into the void in the southern modules when theres 2 minutes and 20 seconds left
