It's just different. No circle means people aren't forced together by zone closing. Instead now you go to statics as they're points on the map people will need to visit if they want to extract

theres also hot spot to find peoples. by example goblins cave u know center square with the lever extract u will find peoples, ice cave u go south on abyss spot of boats rooms or tiles wich drop potential item quests. crypts is more touchy but u know. if u clear tiles quick and u want to find people u will find peoples its not that hard

exactly. first at the begining devs created that zone because they felt pvp was mandatory for the experience. but now the game is moving toward a dungeon game wich is really good. dont get me wrong i am a huge PVP player on this game i like PVP. but now without the dark swarm the dynamic between PVE/PVP is perfectly balanced. and it invite players to try bosses on hell also and everything because u know players was scared to try and explore new zone because the swarm was rushing them

each weapon has different attack sequence / combos; learning them is apart of the challenge, adding a second layer to each weapon makes it even harder for new people to learn

Fighter is generally played three ways either a slayer fighter running duel wield where movement , attack speed, and damage are important , a plate PDR fighter which you would focus defense sword/shield type and survivability, or some type of hybrid of the two with the longsword and sword mastery perks.

Yeah stairs, rope, elevators, and boats are all static so if you find them once they will be in the same spot any other match

Crystal ball will give the weapon damage from slayer perk, and from crystal ball as an offhand for slayer fighter. the -10% would just be on the ball so it wont change your main hand damage. From what i have seen that is.

One thing that makes the fighter easier is running a spear, you can just poke the mobs and back peddle and kill them super easy, also allows for you to jump on stuff and poke down without the mobs able to do anything.

Depends. Barb clears PVE very fast, but has almost no ranged options. Warlock is best sustain but clears a bit slower. If you're going full rat, you can get a lot of loot on rogue and extract without having to take any fights

if you're talking about what I think you are, you hit the ice wall with a weapon. Bigger weapons break the ice in fewer hits, I don't think daggers can break them

I also have backstab and a lot of dot things on, which means i play like a little shit who skidaddles and stabs things like once to kill them slowly, but ive seen other rogues go out there and primarily be invisible, or play as a utility rogue, theres a lot u can do with them, kinda like in dnd i guess

Which ones? The archers you need to move close then away to bait their lunge move. Sword/shield you just kite and stab. Halberdier you wait for them to draw back, then step to the right to avoid their stab. If they do the leg sweep, you have to jump over it

To be fair it’s far from its final version but there are good things and things they do better than DaD. Namely the combat feels more dynamic and cleric isn’t a neutered class in terms of movespeed and damage. And they have the benefit of watching the ups and downs of this game. As for arena it was more equivalent to Hr here where players were more competent and competitive leaving a place for noobs to wander and not get bogged down by the game.

Because without that skill, your physical power bonus is even lower. It goes based off strength so to increase physical power, you increase strength or obtain gear that increases physical power

that's the scaling. as an example if you have a magic ability that does 10 (1.0) damage it means it receives 100% of the bonuses from magical damage bonus, additional magic dmg and true dmg

the formula is basically [base dmg] * %bonus + true/add dmg, so at 50% magical dmg bonus and 5 true dmg with this ability you would have 10 * 1.5 + 5 = 20 total dmg

depends on the map but you should aim to have an exit plan by the time the timer bar switches colors, as that's when most static exits are open and portals start spawning. you can also exit much earlier in some maps by using specific extracts (elevator in goblin caves, boats or elevator in ice caves)

In the minimap you'll see a squigly blue arrow and a boat icon, that means that a raft can come out into the water, you gotta wait for it because it comes periodically , so you'll have to wait by the body of water, you'll hear it spawn so just jump on it and wait for it to extract you, That's just for Frost Mountain, On the other maps look for anything blue in the minimap or in front of you and you'll be able to extract

Nope, The point of the locust swarm on Ruins / earthquake on Goblin Caves / Frostbite on Mountains is to end the match, So you need to leave or else you die

each extraction method has it's own timer but generally by the last 5 minutes all of them should be good unless someone else has taken them, Extractions are single use except for elevator on Goblin and Raft on Mountains, which instead come periodically, with the last one coming at around the 2min mark

The Dark grows darker and you die when the timer reaches 0

Basically you have a limited amount of time you can spend in the dungeons before dying, which forces players to stop camping and actually get to exploring and finding escape plans and fighting each other to guarantee no one will take the extracts
